I am an overseas Pakistani, last months Dec 2011-Jan 2012 I visited Pakistan and tried to renew my one year expired CNIC. Wah Cantt Nadra Office staff to increase their revenue submit my CNIC as amendment they said their is no difference in renewal or alteration although their is not a single dot...

I have a question and not a complaint.

My CNIC is made in karachi but I habve now temporarily shifted to Lahore. My CNIC is now expired and I need to get it renewed. Can I get it done from Lahore or do I need to go to Karachi for renewal.
