When I signed up for this card, the rep told me that since I have an account in the bank. I also pointed out that it said that there was a fee on the form. He told me that it would be waived if I charged anything on my card and it was just for those people who got the card and didn't use it causing losses to the bank.

When I got my first statement I saw a big fat annual fee charge for Rs. 2000/- I was furious. They are still looking into the matter.

Also, it showed on my online statement that I was charged a foreign transaction fee for an internet purchase. No other card has charged me this before for purchases with the same vendor. I feel ripped off by Allied Bank.
