Dear Sir,
I have recently opened an account with Askari Bank Gulberg Branch lahore. I have following concerns:
1. There should be one window operation. I had to go to multiple windows and had to wait for the conerned officer hence it took one and half hour to process this.
2. My introducer verification took 4 working days which is too long.
3. Nobody told me that I hav to apply for debit card separately. This causes unnecessary visit. Refer to point one the person in charge should guide properly about every thing.
4. For online banking I applied and the person told me that it would take three to four weeks for me to able to check the status of my account through internet. It should not be more that two days or maximum a week i thnk.
5. They said that ATM card would be issued in three weeks atleast. I could not understand why this is a very very slow process.
6. I asked for the brochures regarding the services offered by bank and the person in charge told me that he only had one brocure of saving plus account. He refered me to reception, the lady was already very busy and there was only one brocure which was not related to my concerns.

Subject Incorrect of Bill For the months of June
Dear Sir,
This is to inform you that I paying my credit card Bill in full regularly Before due
Dates every months I have no out standing any month But the Bill for the month of June 2010 is
showining some transaction for the previus months ( i.e. For the months of January
& Feb 2010
I want to clarify as why these transaction were added in the Bill for the month of June
I ask Both the merchant They said they have not Claim any transaction during the month
May or June
So please check and Issue me me a new Bill with correction before the due date so
that I pay my bill in full before or on the Due date

I have been harassed by the individuals who claim to be the employees of Asakri Bank in Lahore , Pakistan . The obscene and harassing phone calls are very stressful and frightening invasions of privacy I have ever experienced.
They call by changing their names – I’m sure it’s the same person who calls me every time. They say you’ve availed loan and you are a defaulter. I explained in detail to the caller saying it’s my company number (i.e. confidential) registered in my company’s name but they didn’t believe and the calls do not stop. Yesterday he claimed that the defaulter didn’t pay PKR500,000 to PK600,00 to Askari Bank. Today the amount turned into PKR8,200 which is unbelievable. The person on the phone told he was just kidding to check the equinity of the person/customer. I’ve had a very unpleasant conversation with Ali Abbas just a short while ago. He was acting unprofessionally like anything. He wasn’t ready to listen to me or what my stance was!
I’m not sure if someone has given my mobile number and has had a relationship with Askari Bank, Lahore/Pakistan. Well, I think the bank needs to have appropriate systems in place and must not harass people who’ve never been their customer!
I just heard that the banks here are a bunch of thugs and loansharks and to slam people with ridiculous procedures. But I’m frustrated now with the Askari Bank and willing to put the pain in front of every one to make people aware... It’s happening to me just because of their incompetence and I would like to see something done about Askari Bank and I’m thinking of a class action law suit.
Please look into this.

i have an account with askari bank which i have to bring back to life as i am a resident of united kingdom. i was planning to make some investments in pakistan in the near future, but i am perplexed to read the type of complaints people are making on the internet. as i am not accostomed to such misconduct by the bank staff in the uk, and such ill managment by the bank, i shall either shelf the thought of investment in pakistan or go for a branch of uk banks in pak. things haven;t changed for the better in decades in my country. i don't think they ever will either. "Subject : Forwarding of False Transaction from Askari Debit. Card
Dear Sir,
Undersigned is maintaining salaried account in Clifton, Karachi branch of Askari bank Ltd. My Visa Dept. Card was falsely transacted by any fraud person on 05 Aug 2010 from 1310 hrs. to 1845 hrs. There are total ten in number transactions of amount PKR 39700/- approx. were falsely carried out from Lahore. Whereas, my card was possessed with me and I was in Islamabad at that time. I have also complaint in Askari Clifton branch and Askari's online call center for the investigation and reimbursement of my amount on 06 Aug 2010, however, no serious response from branch and further feedbacks from Askari Bank's department have been received yet. The said transactions were VISA POS transactions from various merchants like BATA Store, Gourmet Bakers and restaurants and Link Stations.
In view of the above, it is requested that serious/ expedite investigation efforts against the culprit may please be processed through Askari Bank be processed so that my stolen amount could be recover to me. Moreover, please provide me the in written details of these VISA POS transactions with signature identifications also for investigation through Askari Bank ltd. I will also approach Governor of State bank of Pakistan through my organization and official channel for justice. Waiting for your early response"

Hi mates...i am employ in Rangers Punjab. My employer asked me to pen the account in Askari Bank Zarrar Shaheed Road, Lahore Cantt. I opened my account and they did not inform me about to submit a separate application for debit card. It wasted my two weeks. Later when i asked them, i had been told to submit application. Then i applied, but thats not an end. I kept my application and put in the draw. They didnt forward my application. After two more weeks, when i visited bank for my ATM card, i had been told that "Sorry Sir! your application had not been forwarded by the negligence of bank staff. They searched for my application, and they got it from somewhere behind the files. Then again they took two more weeks to process my ATM card. So it took more or less 6 weeks to process my card.
It also happens that whenever i visited that branch, most of the time, staff is not available on their seats. Sometime they has gone for lunch, sometime busy somewhere else. Nd sometime they are absent without any alternative for the absent person. Can things be better in Askari Bank?

hello sir mene kal aapko askari bank branch kandh kot ke officer sanjai kumar ke khilaf complent ki thi ke sanjai ne hamare sath bahut ziyadati ki hai our hamari payment rok kar hame loss diya hai our market me hamari beizati ki hai .hamne sanjai k khilaf action lene ki request ki thi magar ab tak koi action naheen liya gaya hamare do account kandhkot branch me 16.1 shankar lal ......28.7 prem sagar comission our ek account new challi branch karachi me 125.9 shanakar lal ke naam se hai. please aap sanjai ke khilaf action len.........................thanks

I have Account in Askari Bank Ltd (Bahadurabad Br. Khi)
I cant submit Cheque in any other Branch of Askari Bank in Khi which is very embarrasing and time consuming in this hi-tech era.
And today I contacted the Call Center then came to know that my Debit Card is VERY OLD thats why the data is not available.........hahaha........ Old customers are not worthy to get that facility ............
I will close that account as soon as i get time....inshAllah

I have Askari Credit Card. My Card was expired in last year 2010 but still I did not received any card from you. So many time I called the helpline for Credit Card there person told me your card will sent to you soon. Its a Big Jok. My Credit Card Limit is Rs.25000/- also I have paid more from my credit limit but still I did not received any card now I am waiting here..... or What Can I do ???? What I do ? Can I publish my compliant in Newspaper ???

Hi. I live in the uk and have an account in askari bank in gujerkhan,in pak.i was pleasantly surprised when i was able to actualy take out money from atm in uk with askari debit card.....we under estimate our banks. The manager is a very decent andcultured guy. I give full marks to askari bank.keep up the good work.
i opened new pls account in cloth market branch Karachi after verifying from Askri help line that annual atm fee is not charged from defence persons.i have called Askari helpline just today and the rep told me that no one is exempted.dear sir let me know that defence persons are exempted from annual atm fee or not.
if defence persons r not exempted from annual atm fee then why your rep gave me the wrong statement and if exempted, then why i was replied by your rep today that no one is exempted.
I observed ATM of Askari bank kundia (chashma mianwali) out of receipt from several month.which cause problem in checking our account statement as well as balance.other wise we will think about another option.

I have been utilizing you Master Askari card since 2004 on regular basis and always make my payment before due date.I am University of Karachi Employee as Laboratory maintenance Engineer (BPS-18).I had drooped my duly filled cheque a weak before in your Askari branch near NIPA Chowrangi .Right now I have received my bill where late payment charges ,FED and Service charges are added. I am really surprised and upset looking such type of malfunctioning in your bank. Receiving date of my cheque as mentioned in the bill is 9/3/12 ,is absolutely wrong.
I am really very much disappointed and worried to see such type of situation and why should I pay you because this is 100% your branch mistake.
Kindly look into the matter and justify with me by reimburse the amount at your earliest and reissue new bill

Ihave utilizing askari creditcard since 2004-05, before 25 days,i have receive da callfromyour bankregrding insurance, i have agreed all terms on the time of call when she said me that dacuments would be send you for your signature, I m really much surprised without any kind of dacuments, I have received a message of deducted Rs.270/- in the mode of insurance fees.
