So Called Most Favorite Cards for Pakistan, I think this the worst and most outdated product in pakistan,
The slogan says it all "Free Forever" now i got the idea that free thing do not have any value..
First of i must say that the technology they are using seems outdated... When ever i call then 80 percent of the time there system is down, or the system is responding slow... I calculated that with in Three Months i spent 743 in Call to there help line. on the other hand HBL and other banks have outstanding online system.
There different fees are very high as compared to other banks. But that i agreed to in the contract but one thing that i must say they they failed to provide us the services that we pay for, i.e. SMS Alert, I never received any Alert from them on time, and 80% of the time i do not even get the SMS and some time i receive the sms after one month.
All In All The Worst Cards in the Pakistan.

Dear SMS is a paid facility, you pay for some thing and you do not get it. that is a lawsuit in the making, i wish i was in USA i would have sue them.
SMS facility a part, They do not have online facility like other banks, In HBL i can pay my due even on the last date via Internet banking,
Just come out of the well and see round you... The progress other have made.. and there system is always down...

Dear, Bank Alfalah is no doubt a very good bank but in recent decade its staff has arrogant or non professional attitude iam also its loyal customer from 10 years.In june 21 my cheques has dispatched to abdali road multan for clearance but till 27 of june it has not been credited to my account after visiting the branch and met to Mr faisal sadat cocerning clearing person replied that your amount will be depoisited in 30th of june we have send it in obc clearing but after 6th june scenario has not been changed and when i have consult with operation manager it was shocking for me that sorry Mr faisal has not send your cheques in obc due to busy schedule .And that cheques has a prominent stamp till 30 june.on the otherway amount will be lapsed.and still that has a pending issue . now you can forsee future of this bank and now tell me what should i do . take media trial or ombudsman or some other legal issues but i want remedy
I also use Alfalah credit card. 1st of all I agree with the system busy problem. The have given a UAN (so called) is useless, I have to listen their long product promotions (I m calling from my cell phone). No one will pick unless it is complete & then I am given a new number to call for internet transaction activation. What a crap,,,

Reference Bank Alfalah SMS dated 31-08-2010 regarding non payment of credit card bill for the month of July 2010.
2. This is to stat that I, Mr. Fazli Ali, Credit Card Number 4025810281477005 have deposited a crossed cheque bearing No. 6786286 dated 30-07-2010 amounting to Rs.3,000/- in draw box of Bank Alfalah, I-8 Markaz Islamabad Branch in favour of Bank Alfalah as minimum amount for the month of July 2010, the same has been confirmed from the bank that the said amount has been withdrawn from my account on 03-08-2010 (bank statement is enclosed).
3. You are therefore, requested to adjust the payment and deduct the said amount from my credit card bill / balance.

To mr Fazli ali what the hell were you thinking putting up your credit card number, account name and branch no on the internet? Why are you complaining about the lack of online banking when you KNEW there was no option of online banking when you opened the account or did you guys not read the contract you were entering into?
P.S. if you can't actually phrase something in english TYPE YOUR COMMENT IN URDU! instead of making your comment into a riddle.

You are right about the act of Mr. Fazli Ali.
Secondly, complaining is our (My) right, and whatever we (I) are doing is within our (My) rights, demanding a new, State of the Art service from its clients is no way a violation of the agreement. On the other hand you may be lacking a word called "PROGRESS" in your dictionary.
Every organization should progress and offer new and exciting services to its customers, rather sticking to the same old (NON FUNCTIONAL, downtime more than 50%) call center as done by Bank Alfalah.
I have no idea what trade you belong to, but let me tell you that the Cost of maintaining a Call center is mammoth if compared to a self service Internet based application.

THE CARING BANK???
I have been using Bank Alfalah’s visa credit card and went into a settlement recently. I was required to pay five monthly instalments PKR5,000 each which I did as per your bank’s terms and conditions detailed of the settlement confirmation latter. I received two statements even after the last instalment was paid with a minimum deposit payable mentioned on the statements. I called-up your help-line to enquire and they said I would be receiving my statement with a ‘0 balance’ in due course. They also gave me Lahore local collection department’s number and asked me to get in touch with them. I called up the given number and they said that I am required to visit them some due which they said were late charges or something like that. The thing is I cannot visit you in Lahore and I am not sure what kind of charges are being imposed on me. Simply I am not willing to pay those charges.
Now that I am done with my payment, I am receiving threatening text messages from some anonymous mobile numbers. The most recent text message that I have received on my mobile is below:
‘Dear customer This is bank alfalah legal & Recovery deptt. Today is your 3rd statement date and your credit will be forward for cancellation and default list of ECIB data check of state bank. Deposit Rs.1200 today before 5pm. Call back or send sms on this no.

I tried calling back this number but no response. Is this what you call a ‘Caring Bank’ attitude?
I passed on the above text message including my card details to Mr Zeeshan (the settlement officer who dealt with my settlement case). Infact I contacted Mr Zeeshan (Cell: +923334287875) twice and forwarded him my details and text messages. He promised to call me back and look into this matter. To date I have never received a response from Mr Zeeshan.
I called up your help-line again and they said my card was already cancelled! What kind of inconsistent messages are you giving to your customers?
I mean you threat your customers in such a pathetic way!

i received credit card bill with the amount of Rs1942 (Service 111331) butt i am never use card in previous days and also i did not receive any message from bank alfalah serwer. please check this mistake why did happend that type of mistakes. I did not pay this amount and you are loosing your cradiblity.Your quick response is required.Regards, Khalid Mehmood.
I AM ALSO FED UP WITH THIS STUPID BANK ALFALAH CREDIT CARD..
I HAVE USED THIS FOR ALMOST 4 YEARS AND SPEND MANY MANY EXTRA MONEY, HIDDEN CHARGES ETC ETC STUFF.. I HAT IT TOO MUCH..
FIRST THEY SAYS IT IS FREE (YES IT IS FREE) WHEN YOU ENTER INTO THIS GAME THEN YOU REALIZE HOW MUCH HIDDEN, EXTRA CHARGES YOU HAVE TO PAY THEM.
I do not agree with these comments I am using Bank Alfalah Credit since 2005, I do not face any kind of problem.
I was also told it is free when I opened an account but then they started applying monthly charges. I also read they offer Islamic banking but later found out it is not available at all branches, only selected ones - which they should have told me beforehand. They also assured me they offer online banking but it later transpired they use the term for a different service and that they do not offer proper online, i.e Internet accessible banking. It is also stated the visa card can be used internationally but whenever I have tried it is not accepted and when I asked the bank they said they do not allow it for security reasons. They claim to issue statements every six months but to date I have never received a single statement, but six months is too infrequent anyway. They keep phoning me to subscribe to their SMS alert service but I always keep telling them I want an online banking facility even if only to be able to check my balance and the last few transactions. Should I go on?
