From 1st July, government has planned to lift the paying of subsidy on KESC. The reason of paying subsidy is due to the reason that WAPDA claims 40% loss annually, out of which 8% loss is natural and of international standard and is acceptable in other countries as well. But out of 32%, 18% is due to the misuse of electricity (Kunda system) the remaing is of department's own misconduct. My humble submission to my government is that they should take coericive action those who are running their entire factories / mills / houses etc. etc on KUNDAA, otherwise it would be useless, theft of electricity will continue on and those are paying their electicity dues honestly they would be very badly, ultimately a time will come whey these honest people will have no other option but to use the KUNDAA option. May Allah give our government a vision, wisdom for better understanding and for better future. AAMEEN

I guess if the price hike will countine ppl will go for other means and options I knew a hospital which is not using KESC electricity in the day time when they have lot of operations ,OPDs radiology activities going on. rather they use generators as that's price effective.
