I recently bought a 5kv gasoline generator from Makro. It was a Chinese brand, worth 50 thousand rupees. It malfunctioned within a week or so. The company which was supplying the warranty (being endorsed by Makro) showed up after a week, and took the generator along. Now its been over a month and they are neither returning the generator, nor fixing it.
My sincere advice: Stay away from Makro.

dude that sucks...Ive seen the generators displayed at Macro and i was tempted to purchase a small one as I thought it was a bit more convenient to buy from there...as opposed to going to the main generator markets like saddar or new chalie area. but its useless if the warranty is not good
