I want to convert my cell number 0300-9517942 to Ufone network from Mobilink because of no coverage of Mobilink in my village i.e. Mirpur, Tehsil and District, Haripur. For conversion purpose I have visited the Ufone Customer Service Centre at G. T. Road Haripur on April 16, 2011 and requested them the conversion. They have issued me the SIM of Ufone and confirmed that the conversion process will be completed in 48 Hours, but it did not happened in 48 Hours.
After 4 days I have visited the Ufone Service Centre again for asking them the reason of non conversion, they replied that the in the records of Mobilink my CNIC number is wrong, but I have enquired SIM from PTA which is duly issued on my name and CNIC number.
Later on I have visited the Ufone Service Centre again; they told me that the process is being delayed by Mobilink. Then I called upon the Mobilink helpline for asking them the reason, they replied that due to system problem all this has happened and your problem will be resolved within two to three days, but even then still I am waiting and nothing is going to happen.
Therefore, I request that the conversion may please be completed as soon as possible; otherwise the complaint would be lodged to PTA.

Salaam, i wuld suggest you write to customercare@mobilink.net, those ppl will let u know the exact status and will help u out in the best way they can. Atleast my experience has been wonderful :)
