On 14-07-2010 at about 12:00pm I purchased a mobilink SIM from a local mobile sale service shop. This person only took copy of my CNIC, no form filling, no signature of form etc.
I called 789 for activation of my newly purchased SIM card. Representative told me that my SIM will be activated in a while after being registered to my name.
I was concerned about ownership of my SIM so I called mobilink help line on 15-07-2010 and they confirmed that the sim is registered to my name.
today at about 1:30PM I noticed that my mobile was showing something like "Invalid SIM Card". I turned my mobile off and on a few times but for no avail.
I called mobilink help line from my colleagues mobilink number and asked about it. they said that a duplicate sim of my number/ sim has been issued that's why my sim is not working.
Help Line Representative directed me to visit Mobilink CS with my original CNIC, copy of CNIC to get a new duplicate sim.
As per my information for issuance of duplicate sim, PTA requires that:-
Owner of SIM himself along with its Original CNIC and a copy of CNIC must visit the concerned CS to obtain a duplicate SIM.
I wonder how can someone get a duplicate of my sim?

You can share your concern with Mobilink about the change of SIM either by calling their helpline 111 or through email at customercare@mobilink.net. People there are helpful and will assist you in regard
Ali I have already tied both of them, for no avail.
111 says I got to visit their business center to obtain new duplicate SIM
and no response yet from email
next thing I am planning is to report the matter to PTA for strict disciplinary action under the law and/ or to take the matter to Consumer Court for proper action against Mobilink.

I am using only one sim but when i checked and found 6 illegal issued sims(6) that sims are not in my use, please rectify nthis issue.
