few days ago my post paid number, which i have been using since last 10 years was suddenly off around 12pm. i called the customer service guys and was told that a duplicate sim has been issued for my number so thats why they have blocked the sim which i was using.
i went to the related franchise and was told about the fiasco. they showed me an ID card copy against which the sim was issued, the ID card copy was clearly tempered with.
due to the negligence of the staff at franchise my number went to a gang of thieves, who further went ahead and used my number to call the bank, of which i had a credit card. they obtained the pin codes for my credit card and withdrew money by using clone cards.
though within few hours i got hold of all the people being invloved in this fiasco thanks to Almighty Allah.
i want to ask people here that can i ask mobilink people for compensation ? if yes, who should i write to/talk to ? as this is a case of identity theft, financial loss, mental torture and negligence of staff at mobilinks end.
