NADRA card application process

Asalamulaikum Sir/Madam

I have just visited the London embassy and was extremely disappointed with the process of obtaining a NADRA card. Although I am a dual national and had proof to verify this I was told that I would have to provide my father's ID card. Unfortunately my father passed away over twenty years ago and I do not have his ID card. I had my father's Pakistani passport and my birth certificate but this was not enough for the staff to verify that I am indeed his son.

I now have to go through the process of obtaining an ID card through my wife. This begs the question, what if I were unmarried or if my wife did not have an ID card? Would I not be entitled to a NADRA card?

The process must be improved. May I suggest that a lean systems thinking review would benefit the organisation. I have not experienced such inefficiencies with the UK system.

I wish the Pakistani government the best in improving their processes.
