Billing after disconnection

There is a billing issue which needs to be resolved.
The landline number 0915818628 was installed in my name on the address House 191, Street 9, Sector E3, Phase 1, Hayatabad, Peshawar.
As it was a rented house and we needed to move out, I paid all the pending bills as I submitted an application for disconnection and also paid demand note payment for not returning the modem in October 2016. We moved out of that house in October end the same year after clearning all the bills.
Now, I have been contacted by the old landlord and he has mentioned that a bill has been sent on that address for the same number. I fail to understand the level of incompetence of the people in PTCL billing department. I wasted 2 days just for cancellation and now I receive the news that a bill has been sent after 4 months of vacating the premises and disconnecting my number.
Kindly fix the problems at your end and check all the payments made in october. Also, please try to understand that people have their own work to be done and it is rather impossible to take out time from our busy schedules just because a clerk didn't do his job properly.
