I want to put this complain on your table that I am using PTCL Broadband Since last 6 months. My Connection is I MB with unlimited Downloading, and I am paying a sum of Rs.1200 for it. But I am sorry to say that I am feeling uncomfortable with your services because u have a lake of Customer respect. Anyhow, the purpose of this Email is that My DSL is not working properly, As I tell u my Connection is 1 MB but unfortunately my Connection is put down to only 256KB by your department since last 10 days. This is not fair, I have tried my best to call at 1218, 1236 and I also contact to my Exchange and tell them about this problem but in vain. Everybody is trying to throw the matter in hell. So, u r requested to please help me about this problem. Otherwise I have no option except to cutoff your services. 03006827553, 0608364053

Dear Users of PTCL broadband internet. I was using 256kb internet DSL package but I feel uncomfortable because some channels and video need to run 700kb or above. So, the speed by ptcl is only 215kb. I dishearten to see this condition. I want to more internet speed. So, I cutoff my DSL modem connection but ptcl send bill including DSL package. But I will not pay any bill further. I am waiting for a new company that provide best speed with low rate of broadband internet package. Soon you will see, It will be happened and ptcl goes down(INSHALLAH). Best of Luck.

actually Mr. bilala sidiqi, I went to ptcl exchange many time to correct my land line quality. But the staff of ptcl Broadband internet connection want a TIP. I had also given them some TIP in the intial state. But now, I will not give further TIP. You can understand "TIP". Some amount of money to fill their pockets. PTCL donot behave his consumers rightly. You can only registered your complaint but It is only limited to their register. No action is taken through the staff of ptcl. This staff is actually BLACK SHEEP. Who want to down ptcl dealing with their consumers. ok. thankx for your commnents. if you have some better service reply me at my email address. ptcl phg is goes down now a days.m a student from virtual university and i need a lot some time and there is no even beep for the net..... its not right ptcl walooooooo
I am also B.A student of Allama Iqbal Open university Islamabad. I need internet because it helps for students to understand their studies. mamna says that no time for net but I say that net is essential for study and research. In some subject you can not understand some things which is available on internet. But here is cheapest internet broadband service is available only in ptcl. Soon you will see the internet available @250 or 300 per month with braodband internet speed for students. If any comments about " internet need for student " tell us. Thankx

sir mere pass pass ptcl ka 4 mb ka package per is ke downloading sirf 400 se 430 kbs tak hai.....

PTCL ab aik naya FROD laya ha. mera bill 510 rupees per month 256kb ki speed par ata tha. lakin pichly 2 mah sy ptcl ny mujhy BB Access charges 1000 rupees mae dalna start kar diye takeh mae us ka Unlimited 1250 Rupees wala packge ly lon. lakin mae ny himat nai hari. mae ny Local Area Wireless TP-link card wala connection ly liya. speed zabardast ha aur downloading unlimited ha. MAE LANAT BHAJTA HON PTCL PAR. aur ap ko maswara don ga keh is ky JAL mae mat phanso aur koi aur internet service use karo.
ap ka masla 4MB wala ha. to bhai ap windows dobara karo. pir line check karo. agar shor ha to us ki complaint karwao. agar pir bi theek na ho to 0800-80800 par call kar ky apni shikayat karo. Agar pir bi theek na ho to PTCL ka koi bi bill pay mat karo. yeh SALA khud hi kut jay ga. ufone ya warid ki USB use karo. ok
Tell PTA about bad services of PTCL.You should all launch complaints to PTA about slow speed of PTCL and PTA will take action.
I have use 1MB broadband but is look like 0Mb because downloading speed is about 0.5 kb/sec. its not good. bad bad bad

I am using PTCL Broadband 1MB connection for the last two months. I did not see any problem while using net. For asking and sharing some issues with staff it take time because operators might be busy with other customers, when i connected with them really i like their dealings. We all customers should show our patience. This is our company, we must appreciate them to increase the moral of PTCL staff. I agree that some staff in some cities could do misbehave but we should not blame to whole company. We should adopt complaining manners i.e written or personally complaints to higher authorities etc. So be patience, be loyal Pakistani, be a respectful citizen and be a respectful PTCL customer.
I know this company is trying to improve its services but it will take time so help and cooperate with this company.

I don't know from which city do you belong but in my region Chiniot the speed of PTCL broad band is very low.I am talking without any exaggeration that my friends and I have complained about 1000 times to PTCL about slow speed but they do nothing.I am not talking about behavior of ptcl staff im talking about the product they give us.And seriously you should come and see the browsing speed here.I have told PTA about this but still nothing is done.And problem is that PTCL has removed a private ISP IMZAK from our area.This is PTCL's monoply.And I think that u r some kind of PTCL's employee or sth like that otherwise you would have been giving them "GALIAN"
Well I am not sure about this complain, because as the complainant says, that he is getting "256KB" , and he used "KB" and not "kb", my friends 256KB means 2mb.!!!
This is how they trick you, its a marketing strategy.
How let me explain it to you, When they say 1mb it means 1 mega bits (not bytes, bytes uses capital 'B') , So 1mb(megabits) = 1*1024 = 1024 kilobits, 1024*1024 = 1048576 bits, 1048576/8 = 131072 bytes, 131072/1024 = 128 KBPS .. so therefore 1mb is actually 128KBPS, so if you get a higher speed than that, consider yourselves lucky! ;)
sir maera 1mb package he iske baawajod bhi speed just 256kb aa rahi he is ki kya waja.aap log hum se 1mb ke charges wasool karte aur speed bhi tu 1mb day.plzz aap se request he khudaara ghareeb awaam par taras khai aur itna mat loote pahle hi hamara mullak other countries ka mohtaaj he.

The PTCL broadband service is useless as it doesnt connect through when u need to use the internet. At the end of the month we pay the rent but throughout the month we get to use only a few hours of internet. That also an unsmooth and slow connection. On complaining to the exchange they blame the wire joints that they dont even come to repair, then it's the roof they blame it on as it has alot of metal used in its building and then comes the electricity pole and so on.
I recommend that PTCL should bill only for the amount the customers used as long as the connection was available and dont charge unjustly for something that was never available in the first place.
I also recommend that those people who are planning to get a ptcl broadband connection, change your mind.
What does raining have to do with the internet connection while the landline is working smooth. The connection goes to hell everytime it rains.
