Respected sir,

PTCL approved DSL Broadband service in Naundero approximately 2 months ago since then PTCL's technical team has visited the site in Naundero Telephone exchange many times and provided necessary equipment but the service has not been started due to reasons beyond any body’s guess. This home town of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto has been deprived of this facility by the High PTCL officials so far in this age of Computer technology. The undersigned talked telephonically to the D.E., Larkana, Mr. Aftab Ahmed Sahito today to know the reason of undue delay, to which he aristocratically replied that they don’t have required list of 60 connections/subscribers whereas the same has already been sent by the Naundero PTCL Staff to him and other higher authorities. More-over it is not the business of the citizens of Naundero to provide such a list.

It must be remembered that laying of Optic Fiber during the last government of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed in Ratodero was on the condition that Naundero will be given the DSL and other related facilities but it is astonishing that this promise is being ignored during her own party’s government.

In a population of over one hundred thousand, PTCL officers of Larkana cannot find 60 subscribers is a point to ponder and to be investigated by the higher PTCL authorities concerned.

I request higher PTCL/PTA and other government authorities to look into the matter immediately and seriously and don’t deprive the youth of Naundero of this modern age facility or the matter will be taken up at higher level by the citizens during the next visit of the President of Pakistan to Naundero.

It seems that PTCL become a dull company. As I have already lodged a complaint about the my faulty telephone 0642522252. But no action is being taken about this complaint. It seems PTCL has slept for ever. Request for removal of a defect.

I also had applied for three month ago. First they said it is not possible on your previous land line so for this i have changed my number and my order number is 205AWZC but still there is no response on this. From Inquiry he told me that you still not get DSL connection on this line. So I am strongely agree with you and suggest that these black sheeps should be kicked out.

It is too much embarrassment for you and your whole staff, I have complain about my internet and telephone line many times from 10 January, 2010 to up till now but there is a shame full respond has been seen from your staff.

I personally call many times at 1218 for the complain, Mr Ashfaq, Mr Faisal and a supervisor Mr Adnan Munir hasn’t take any notice on my complains.

Then I visited at I-10 PTCL branch where I met your AM Imran (03005361559) whom send a person at my home named Mr Bilal who declare that there is a problem in my telephone line. He told me to complain to SDO at 4444474. I tried many times but there is no response at this No.

Now I mail you with this hope that you might be able to solve my problem, because I m so dishearten for negligence of your staff on my complains

PTCL SDO at Satellite exchange/ RWP and DSL workers on both shifts
have wasted my precious time and kept me waiting day after an other.
The solution to that is ptcl hire some HONEST ppl for investigation committee and make calls for putting down complaints, now see how much will they play with you, wasting your time and money. Finally kick off all such players

Oh yeah, of course PTCL is becoming the FLOPEST company very due to irresponsible and corrupt staff. I myself have complained for a number of times but no attention has been paid towards any complaint.

I am facing same problem guys! I'm frustrated and surprised, How's careless PTCL employees are? No one is supervising them. They do what they wants! not responsibilities no efficiency, How they are running this company? Ptcl official are not in this mode to listen complaints of customers. Customers are facing of problem but they don't care. They are taking their salaries and they have no interest in problems that people are facing. Guys I live in Mankera i orderd for DSL connection on 19 April their confirmation call was received on next day. today is 2 June but still connection is not installed. I contacted to local CP installer, when whenever i contact him he always say connection will be install in one or two days i am listening these word since 19 April. And i have paid bill of DSL of month May with out using DSL. Now i am tired and thinking about its alternative. If any body have any idea please share it with me. Thanks

What a Performance of PTCL

I had applied (online) for PTCL connection in July 2009 – this was really a blunder from me.
No response received for 2-3 months.
On my follow up, connection was refused due to technical problems. PTCL, instead, offered me Vfone connection (probably in October 2009) which I declined.
Later, all of sudden, PTCL started sending me monthly bills (Nov 2009).
On receipt of 1st bill, complaint was immediately lodged on 080080800, 1236 and 1218
On receipt of 2nd bill, complaint was again registered on all numbers given on the bill and available on PTCL website. I also tried to contact the Divisional Engineer, Sr. Operation Engineer and RGM but all in vain.
On receipt of 3rd bill, the complaint process was repeated and it was also lodged with PTA.
After a week, a call was received from an Islamabad number (PTCL); assuring me that billing would be stopped immediately.
However, the next month, bill (4th) was again received. The complaint was again registered.
Then, as per matter of routine, the 5th monthly bill was received (without any connection). This time the bill was received with a threatening letter/ notice; what a criminal and condemnable act it was.
In reply, I again emailed to PTCL & PTA condemning the irresponsible attitude and poor management of PTCL. I made it clear that I reserve all the rights in the world to defend myself by all means. I also declared that in case of any mishap, the PTCL management would be fully responsible.

Soon, thereafter, Mr. Khalil Ahmed Dharpali (Business Manager Ops KIA Division STR-II Karachi), first contact me over my cell number and then visited my residence (on 17th April 2010) and assured me that all extra charges would be waived off and connection would be given immediately. On this commitment I allowed for connection, which was another blunder from me.
The line was soon installed but without any service/ calling facility.
I again started complaining
Then, they again advised me to pay the bill first to have calling facility.
Anyhow, the bill was paid. Meanwhile, the next monthly bill was received which was also paid

But infuriately the telephone service is still unavailable on my number
It is now a daily exercise for me to register a complain for restoring my number but all in vain
Since November 2009, I am suffering from such a poor, miserable and regrettable behavior of PTCL
PTA has also proved to be a helpless & useless institution having totally failed to take appropriate measures to regulate the PTCL and save customers from such big embarrassments and humiliations

I want to inform you that since last 16 days I have facing some problems regarding my PTCL DSL service 02134591537. I have registered so many complaint at 1218,DSL technician came after three days he tried to rectify but when he failed he said your line has much noise thats why DSL link can, t get stability, then I again registered so many complain about noisy line but nobody bother to rectify it ,in last week I daily visited to my concern exchange(Karachi Air port) and told whole story to DE Mr. Fahim as well as zonal Director Mr. Arif Kamal was also there, Mr. Fahim assure me your problem will rectify but still after four meeting with Mr. Fahim and Mr.Arif Kamal, problem is persist, which mean not a lower staff as well as DE and Director level also not interested to solve customers problem, it is regret to say Mr.Fahim asked me to contact area engineer Mr. Asim Naveed,today I called him but his behaviour was very rude and unmannerly, he did not listen me he straight forward refused and said it is cable issue contact to Mr.Alamgeer.
I could not understand how the PTCL is running with this type of irresponsible person
It is not out of mention that I did not understand whether PTCL broadband and phones are under the same administration or separate because when ever I complaint about broadband due to noise, they said go to phone section it is fault of line, phone section said it is fault of broadband, I don’t know what the hell is going on with PTCL.
I have put so many complaint at 1218, once when I asked about status of my complaints, 1218 person said it has been resolved as per our record when ever problem is still there but resolved without any work, there is no cross check. The only person who tried his best is DSL technician Mr. Rehman but he cant do any thing unless phone line is clear, how many complaint I have to register and how many time I have to visit I don’t know, I have never seen attitude like PTCL official specially Mr.Asim Naveed who don’t have manners and care of customers problems.
It is sorry to say if I could not get any solution ,I compel to discontinue PTCL phone as well as DSL,this will be only due to ignorance and irresponsibility of these higher official like DE Mr. Fahim and Director Arif Kamal.I don’t want to pay on defective service, there are lot of internet services are available in market.
I request you please take necessary and immediate action on my complain specially on behaviour of Mr.Asim Naveed

its about a year em using ptcl but i have never witnessed anything disgusting as PTCL as ever before
as its slogan says "feel the difference" em really feeling it.
after complaint of 4 months em still having problem of blinking of DSL light and lineman knowns nothing.
when i call at 1218 they are some other shitty idiots and they know nothing about internet. ur complaints, ur time and ur money all are wasted in this PTCL.
Is there any solution to PTCL?

After regards and going through all these complaints, it is evident that PTCL is only up to grab money from people of Pakistan with their monopoly.
I am also one of the aggrieved of ptcl by their worse connection speed and outstanding dues every month with mentioning various lame reasons.
I got my phone connection shifted from my one home to other, as a result of which they imposed Rs. 500 service charges Rs.15 tax and Rs.475 without mentioning any reason, not only this they imposed some VAT Rs.227 and W.H Tax Rs.124/- all these charges are with no clausible reason some may be called Tax but what about the rest.
Not only this but i also had to suffer/wait for couple of weeks awaiting for installation of connection at my new home.
The bottom line is fellows, that we shall contact Consumer rights protection Court. That Court just need an application no plain paper by the applicant, no need of lawyer or any suchlike person/thing and giving reply to PTCL of their evil acts. A friend of mine in nearby city did so few days ago and up till now the Court is summoning all the High-ups of PTCL and now he says that he feels good, when they are also aggrieved of the consumer. Moreover, they dont have any option of complaints on their website.
I am also up to snatch my right instead of begging from this deaf company and suggest u all the same.

i will say in brief. i ordered online a bradband and a new telephone connection. it is around 4 months have passed. i received only thrice a stupid fon calls asking whether my demand has been fulfilled or not. No person from PTCL came to me. i personally contacted the Gulzar hijri Exchange Karachi which is relevant exchange of my area but no one answered me why Bradband and new connection was issued to me. they said that there was no connectivity available in my area. i m tired of all this stupidity and seeking for a Quebee. it is the policy of PTCL lower employee to delay so that worl load should be minimum to them and people wuld take quebee wateen etc and PTCL employee would get rid of having working and installing all bullshit BROADBAND AND NEW CONNECTION....sorrow for attitude...and Bullshit SLOGAN of PTCL....

It is stated that I m the student of University of Engineering and Technology Abbottabad Campus. I have been using PTCL DSL connection for the last two years. My internet is out of order for the last 5 days and I have made complaint so many times to the Mandia Abbottabad exchange and to costumer services as well but nothing has been done yet and SDO had passed wrong report that the problem has been fixed. Our complaint numbers were 24, 20, 1 and 18. This morning we made our complaint again to the exchange and they told me that our member is on its way towards your hostel but 6 hours have been elapsed and he hasn’t reached yet.

I m final year student and I m doing my thesis project but because of the problem in internet I cant work on my project. Kindly consider the problem and talk to the exchange.

PTCL has now turned to the disaster and I don't think that it can make any recovery for its development. Almost PTCL has rack and ruined. I have also Compliant to make against DSL broadband service which is not too satisfied for all I know. I live in Gambat Station where the Dsl may not let you to download any 1mb of file, So i am telling you what happens out there So when I download a file from any server so it begins download with speed 1.2KB and never goes up or ever increased believe me for all reasons time hangs heavy on my hands and i feel something like making suicide and not so much when my download is about to complete it has an immoral habit of disconnecting while downloading. you will never be able to download it because some servers don't support resume process. Really this is very sad story of Ptcl broadband service. And definably i really don't know what to do. So I request Ptcl Broadband service employees For the Sake of Allah Please do good and be good and get it repaired my Dsl connection in Station Gambat Sindh. May God Bless you! with happy life.

I’m Sajid Ali Solangi from Karachi, dear sir few time before I applied for the two new DSL 4MB connections and after few weeks the area line man came and give the both connection and installed that both but from one month I’m facing problems , that both DSL connections are not working , I went to PTCL exchange many times but they didn’t give any response to me still my both numbers are disconnected and I cant access my internet , Dear sir as we all know that the PTCL shares are sold and now its being private but there isn’t any improvement , I have already one connection in different area and every week I’m facing different problems, why your service is become very poor?
Sir its my kind request to you please do something , and please solve my problems and activate my both DSL connections that are disconnected from one month,
If you don’t take any action than give me the head office email address or give me the email of head of the PTCL department who solve my complain and activate both DSL connections, I never used both connections from month but in few days how I pay the bill?? My name is Muhammad Iqbal, and I am the resident of village Shewa, District and tehsil Swabi, KPK. My telephone number is 0938-311460.

I have gotten the landline 4 years ago, and at the moment, I am using 1 MB DSL. Previously, it happened that 1 MB service was upgraded to 2 MB without any notification to the subscribers. Today, when I got my bill, to my surprise it was Rs. 1810, which is totally wrong and unjustified. In this connection, I contacted the Swabi main Exchange and talked to one Mr. Majid, SDO/DSL and Mr. Sheraz R.O, but they brutally rejected my request to reduce the bill i.e. up to Rs. 1199 (1 MB).

During conversation with them, they showed really rude behavior with me. The employees are supposed to at least consider their subscribers as human. PTCL must first train its employees, how to deal the subscribers.

I am also going to cut my phone line with a strong protest regarding the ill behavior of your employees and snatching of money illegally and without any cause.

You are also requested to inquire about the matter and use iron hands with those employees who are committing criminal acts i.e. over billing and ill behavior.

One more thing, sitting in the air-conditioned rooms won’t do anything, just come out and see yourself what is going in the field; then you would be able to observe the facts.

I have broadband speed issue for couple of months. My connection is 4Mb but my net speed is less than or near to 1Mb. PTCL help cenre doesn't take action but after every three or four days they send message that issue has been resolved, which mess me a lot. I requested that if they can't provide me 4Mb then convert my connection into 1Mb. Atleast I will save some money. Please take some sharp action to solve my problem.

Dear Sir,
I applied for PTCL Broadband DSL at my home (021-35311303) on March 2011. The internet was installed properly and the service was very much satisfactory. We had no problems with the reception or speed.

On Mid of May, suddenly the internet stopped working and my internet access was blocked. The modem was however online.

I made a complain with 1218 and was given assurance that the problem will be resolved within 12~48hours. However, after 12hours, I noticed that the "Internet Light" on the modem was red in color (online modems have green light) but no Dail tone in my Telephone Line. I made another complain at 1218 and I was directed to make a complain on 1236.

The operator was very kind enough and after verifying all my credentials, he made a promised and informed me that the internet and telephone line will be operational again in the next 24 hours. He also advised me to visit the relevant exchange to sort out matters more quickly. I visited the exchange and they had some malfunction in the system so they took my contact number and confirmed to call me with an update. Neither did I receive the call nor did my internet start working.

Now again I am facing same problem since 30
Days .My Telephone line and Dsl is out of order .

Sir, I very well know that you are a very busy person and such a long email requires much of your precious time but Ive been given no choice than to contact you for the resolution of my problem. Since the installation of PTCL I was a very satisfied client as the service was of international standards and the speed was marvellous. However, its because of some Technicians and Officers that clients are forced to abandon your services and switch to other private options.

I would request you to please pass necessary instructions so that my internet can be operational again as I very much want to continue PTCL Broadband at my residence.
I would also be thankful if you can send a copy of the instructions sent to the concerned exchange/department to me so I can persue the matter at my end as well.

same is the case with me.
after such a hard task of installation of the ptcl broadband.
the net on my line has not been activated for 4 days. i have visited my area exchange defence lahore. i have told them many times that please activate the net on my line.
but they are not responding.
the man who did installation said that the net would activated after 2 hrs of installation.
its complete 3 days now no activation has taken place
is there any one in this departement to listen then please have a mercy and see the complaints

I have sent so many requests to the ptcl officials officers through help line 1218/1236, along with snaps taken speed of DSL which is to be requested for 4mb, from 1MB, but since 2 months, still it is running as 1mb,, hence I have paid the bill of 4mb.. It is therefore requested my connection may kindly be upgraded from 1mb to 4mb with immediate effects, Now I am tired to sent such request day by day. while pay the Bill of 4Mb and avail 1MB which is unlawful.

I am Ans Virk from Faisalabad. I am disappointed by your team work and I want to share my problem to you. I need your help to solve my problem.
Recently NLC has constructed Nushtar road mominabad before the construction of road ,PTCL team removed all pool from the road but they did not remove one pool which is situated front of my house and it is becoming problem to me and other people of my area. I have informed SDO MR.Liaqat about this pool even NLC makred this pool to remove but he did not take an action on my complain. I have been waiting for his response from 4 month but my request is in still pending.
I look forward to hearing from you and to a solution of this problem I hope you must take an action on my complaint and remove this pool by front on my home.
