PTCL DSL Complaints - FUCKIN slow speed

Murtaza...the disconnection problem for when you make call is likely to be because you are most likely not using the ADSL filter to all extensions to which you have telephone equipment connected.
With regards to slow speeds...well thats another separate issue which even PTCL wont resolve until they upgrade all their wiring network. Theres probably too much interference/noise on your line.

PTCL is one of the worst companies in Pakistan. On a scale rate of 1 to 5 I will mark it at 5 . 5 being worst.
1. Pathetic Service
2. False Promises
3. Very little or limited access with CSR
4. They said issue will be resolved in 24 hours . The 24 working hours never end. I have been complaining for past 1.5 month its about 240
working hours

I highly recommend to get rid of PTCL crap and go for some other options.

exactly sultan i will get rid of this shit very soon and i will write some abuses in the "APPLICATION OF DISCONNECTION" for sure. these guys are horrible. even the DSL complaint number guy has switched off his fone. HORRIBLE service. I will give a try to LINKDOTNET dsl service next time. on 18 june i will get it disconnected

I had PTCL connection so called "2 Mbps" and its was nothing but throwing money in fuckin assholes. Got the Mobilink Infinity 1 Mbps (WiMax)... though I am not satisfied with infinity's speed but nevertheless service quality is superb. They resolve any issue within few hours.

@ Murtaza........ Dont go for Linkdotnet. They are good at service but very bad in billing. They eat up money. The accounting people at the back end are lethargic. I was using Linkdotnet before PTCL. I would not recommend LINKDOTNET. USE EVDO

hmmm.. EVDO is also available in lahore i think. if yes then i would go for it. thanx sultan. PTCL KA OFFICE TOR DENA CHAHIYE. they sold the company to arabs but the service is still shit.

My 512 Kbps Maxcom connection was far better than their 1 Mbps slower than dial-up shit.

If you are in Islamabad, go for NAYATEL. That is the best Internet service there on the fiber optics technology. Never Trust PTCL.

FROM MONTH MY DSL CONNECTION IS VERY TOO SLOW

I called 1236 to get my connection disconnected but they couldnt do anything for like 2 weeks. then i had to go to edgerton road branch which is far away from fome myself to throw their modem. CUSTOMER SERVICE MY ASS.

I also use “2 Mbps” and I think its worst than Dialup bcz of its disconectivity rate. 3 to 4 times disconnectivity occurs in half an hour and download rate varies 40kbps 80 and very rarely 220kbps & sometimes 7kbps despite of the fact that there is no problem in my phone line. I think the ptcl Employees working in this field (DSL) share our connections with their friends and family.

i have 1mb ptcl dsl its speed maximum goes to 750 mb and downloading speed just goes 100 kb kindly tell me wht to do?

I am the new user of bloody Ptcl dsl and i have got it yesterday now the actual speed i am getting is not more then 0.31 mbps out of 1.0 mbps which they promise to give us.my complain number is #120 yesterday they said that the port will be refreshed so i will be getting complete 1 Mb within few hours then they asked me to change the ip and gateway etc. but today they told me different thing that we are getting problems from our side therefor the speed issue can be fixed by tomorrow...now i am thinking about to revert to CableNet which is not much different then this Silly Dsl but allot cheaper...!

I am the new user of ptcl dsl and i got it last monday,at the very beginning i got the problem of low bandwidth 0.31 mbps download,so the installation guy told me that he is going to send the request for refreshing the port from Islamabad then the bandwidth will be fine,next day nothing was changed then i called on there helpline but they told me different story that the problem is with the network,then next day they changed the settings of modem,then next day they forwarded my complain and today they have promised me to synchronize the connection which will be done by tomorrow..now i am waiting for tomorrow.if nothing happens then i will call them to collect the modem and there fucking DSL service from my premises....thats it
because i am getting the same speed from cable service which is lot cheaper then so called bloody ptcl broadband.

PTCL making money not intrest to any complain turly i call him our exchange
they are saying me if u have a broblems then plz u can cut ur connection.

DC problem after 5 mint DC every 5 mint DC not well ran any time i also used
one pc and 1MB deta bat not well. every buddy have a complain by our exange

you should disconnect as soon as possible. these PTCL Broadband People are barwa s and their mothers are whores . Thay just know the way to pay millions for commercial and poor customer service.

ADSL connection is a good but its speed is a very slow

Using 1Mbps connection & I do agree wid all complaints regrading PTCL broadband dsl connection speed problems. It only can be resolved by replacing wires, bcoz broken wires cause destruction & make noice, & noice kills net speed.
I live in Nawabshah, can someone tell me another option, I want to switch up, which is better n within range of 1000 per month.
