Sir I have recently availed this facility of ptcl dsl connection. But the problem is that the speed is very low. The package which I have choosen is for providing 1000kbps connecting speed and my friends has told me that this package has atleast120kbps downloading speed but the case with me in reality is 100kbps connecting speed and only 14kbps downloading fee which is very low. You are requested sir that please a serious action as soon as possible.

I am agree with the the statement made by my pakistani brother. I have also take the facility of DSL from ptcl. but the speed i am getting is up to 50 KB/s . which is not equal to the pakage of 1 MB.
reply what should i do. If you cant do some thing then i can get the facility from the Link dot net. ok

PTCL dsl 2mb is giving downloading speed of only 15-20kbps which is very low. No matter where whom and how many times you complain this is PTCL just like the tail of a dog.

My complain is that i have 2mbps connection of ptcl but my downloading speed is shameful.It is 70-90kbps.Another thing is that I am paying for 4 mbps package but I by ip address only mention 2mbps package.I have reported this issue 1-2 months before and registered many complaints and every time I hear same words that ur work will done in 5 working days and also my net keeps on disconnecting and i can play online multiplayer games like cs 1.6.

Guyz check out something. I want to highlight this issue as much as i can. Do you know that PTCL is not giving u proper downloading according to ur connection.
If u have 1MB connection, u must get 100Kbps speed. if u have 2mb connection then u must get 200kbps speed nd so on.
1. Just goto any website from where u can download something.
2. DONOT USE any IDM "Download manager" software or any "TORRENT".
3. Just download that file directly. (again do not use any kind download manager software). Download directly.

Then check ur download speed in kbps. You will c that it wont even be half of the speed where it shud be.

I have checked this sooo many people and i want to run this compaign againt ptcl that y they r not giving proper download speed to users according to their connections.
Problem is that we uses download manager programs. That programs gives you perfect downloading speed. But if u wanna check ur speed then download anything directly (without using any DM software).

Dear sir, The subscribers to PTCL`s broadband service (DSL) are unable to browse, surf, search, upload and download data. Those who has subscribed to 1MB and 4MB services get only 300-400kbs of downstream speed and 100kbs of upstream speed.
The DSL service was discontinued several times for days due to technical faults best known to the officials concerned and whenever a customer calls them he is given the ready made reply that there is a fault in the exchange or the service is being upgraded.
Many customers have sent written and verbal complaints to concerned officials of the company but they did not get any answer.
The customers of broadband request to the chairman of the company to send a team of experts to smooth out the problems so that they can get solution to their problem thanks
