vphone sim not working

Salam to all

i am using evo 3.1 for few months and is working good but i have a problem in using vphone sim in it. whenever i sim in it, it displayed a message "only specifed UIM card can be used on this device" and it shows no signal.Please tell me about it I will very thankful to you.
