On the 31st of October I visited the Standard Chartered Atm Machine in Wapda Town Lahore, I tried to take out money from the machine but it kept giving me an error that the transaction could not be processed, after 4 attempts I gave up and came back home, after a couple of hours to my surprise I got 4 txt messages from the bank that all my transactions have been processed. I signed in my online account and saw that 7000 rupees have been deducted from my account, when i called their helpline they took my details and all they could do is ask me to call after 4 days and if the issue is not resolved they will see if the cctv footage is "available". The same bank hasn't been able to provide me with my cheque book for 2 months as all they can say is that we've ordered the cheque book but it takes time from them to make it as it comes from karachi.
These are the services of the so called best bank of Pakistan, i request you all to beware from these hoaxes as these banks are looting people from not only their money but their consumer rights too!
