It was about a year back when I was desperately looking for a job. An ad in a local newspaper interested me. It was a SLIC ad inviting fresh and experienced individuals. The next morning I rushed at the given address, which I don’t exactly remember now except for the fact that it was located at Momin Square, Near NIPA, Gulshan-e-Iqbal. After I reached the office and waited for over 25 mins for seemingly no good reason, I was asked to meet a lady named Ruby. She told me all about SLIC that later turned out to be a mere bullshit! After bullshitting she came to the point and offered me a job on a condition that I must buy a policy. I was desperate. I had been going through the hard times. I had to pay my tuition fees and bear all my expenses. So I did. I paid PKR4000 for that stupid policy. After a week I received an appointment letter via courier. But I was shocked to find that all the terms & conditions were contrary to what I had been told. I went to their office to return that letter and see if there was any way I could have my money back. I know 4000 might not be a big money for lots of people, but for me it was everything. It was the money I had been saving for a long time. I still remember how I made that money, giving home tuitions and even selling watches on streets.
But those SLIC people turned out to be cheaters. I even complaint about the case at their head office, but no luck! They even refused to talk or say anything about the policy papers. After they had found me adamant and realized that there is no way I would let them easily walk away with my hard earned money, they involved a bouncer into the case and felt no shame in crossing every line. I sustained spine injury and some severe bruises that still sometimes pain. I would request all the innocent people out there to learn from my experience and try to avoid dealing with these plundered to an extent possible.

That's one of the most shocking experience I've heard about. They sold you a policy based on fraud! That's exploitation at its worst. I guess you were really desperate for the job as you have described, else you should definitely have declined the "job". But an apparently reputed organization such as State Life Insurance can do that, is unbelievable, shocking, and extremely deplorable. Shame on state life insurance!

thats realli sad what u have told us here .. well i have no connections with any insurance companies at all ... but the thing is such shit ppl mis use names of such large groups ... i discussed the whole story with a friend of mine .. he is an assistant superintendant of police (ASP) .. he told me that state life insurance give away attractive prizes to the agents either scheduled or not .. u can also be an agent fot state life ... u give away the sale ... state life will give u the commission ... so ppl miscommunicate and mis sell the good stuff ... state life does not take any responsiblity for mis selling becuase the policy u sign is the document of mutual understanding ... anyhow ... do not lose heart .. Allah will give them a very good lesson .. evry single person including ME ... is with u ,,, I wish u very best of luck ... just do hell with that 4000... Allah will give u many 4000s dear .. have a big heart ... :-) take care ..
