Telenor Complaints - Closure of Sms Delivery Report

i called on telenor help line they told that this closure was due to betterment of service, but there it is going worse after that. they should take other actions to betterment of service instead of closure of an existing facility. I think delivery report is important to come to know if your message is delivered or not, if it is pending to make a call if neccessory or to check whether the receipents number is powered off.

Let me add something into it. I also asked the same question regarding the SMS delivery but i got a very good reasonable reply. I was told that SMS DELIVERY is the things of that time, when networks were a bit unreliable and SMS delivery cud not be confirmed. but now things have been so much improved and so beeter using the netwrok for the actual SMS & calls and removing the overhead of the delivery reports that also travel over the network. Being a student of computer sciences and networking, it makes me good sense with the reason.

That customer rep must have "cherbili zuban", if this is the reason then delivery reports should have been closed at least in Europe. What if the receivers cell phone is off?

Dear Sir,
My brother convert the nertwork from Jazz to Telenor with same number on my advice but the broblem is that just he call to others but can not recieve as reply come from your network that this invalid number as per your officer comment that it will solved within one day But allas that the problem is still not solved and he face a lot of problem please let me know can it be solved or otherwise we come move to our old network (Jazz).
