VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO ONE PICKS THE TOLL FREE NUMBER OF CUSTOMER CARE CENTRE. AND IF SOME ONE DOES, THEY DO NOT TREAT NICELY. THE CUSTOMER CARE IS REALLY BAD AT UBL.

I agree. Their customer service is not good and they don't provide sufficient services.
No dear the customer service is not that bad just look the no of branches it has and to take care of so much branches is not that eassy. also the clientage is on high side
also to provide the good customer service they have two toll free no's which no other bank is offering they are

This complain is right. I have a Car by UBL on installments. Even, I have paid minimum of extra five installments, but still UBL charge me late fee. And UBL staff is not providing me any detail to reconcile my account with UBL.
And there is no help from State Bank of Pakistan. State Bank of Pakistan is sleeping.

THE BANK IS ONLINE BUT THEY TOLD US THAT OUR BANK IS NOT INLINE END THE DUTY TIMMING IS 9:00 AM TO 5:00 PM AND THEY CLOSED THE BANK AFTER LUNCH 2:00 PM

I know these large players do such things, especially in rural areas as Niaz Khan mentioned in his email.
SBP should imply strict regulations on these banks that they operate in those areas with every facility which they are providing in urban areas, so that it is easier for the consumer to transfer money quickly and easily.
i totally agree, state bank should take some actions. and it should not only keep on changing the policies without informing consumers, but it should also do domething to improve the standard of the bank. i manage tow accounts, one at UBL and one at BANK AL FALAH, and there's a big difference in the way of treatment with customers. UBL should take care of such things; it only ruins it's reputation.
I completely agree with complaint lanuched against the UBL Bank , as they have the worst service .
Their car financing scheme has looted thousands of people with hidden charges , processing fee and much more .
I guess State Bank must take some action against UBL or someone must challenge them in the court .

I have purchased suzuki mehran vxr through your bank and paid my monthly installments @7600 pm regularly but in April 2008,I could not paid my installments due to some acute financial problems till July 2008(Four months).
At that time the remaining sum was not more than 200,000.The bank re-occupied the car when it was being driven by my husband.Four officials stopped him on the road and humiliated him and forced him to get down from the car and driven away the car.We reached at your recovery branch where we met the Manager, Mr.Naeem Mirza and told him that we were ready to pay outstanding installments.But he very rudely refused to help us.
After some time when I went to pay the amount,the manager told that our car was auctioned.It was a shock for us as the bank should serve us some notice or inform us in writing.With out informing us they sold the car.
Sir I am a poor teacher and earn my livings through tutions.The bank deprived me and now I have to go by bus to teach my tutions which is very painful and difficult at this age of 50 years.Mr Mirza Naeem did not give me a penny even though I had paid more than Rs. 250000/.He refused me to give me time to meet when I tried to meet him.
Some of my friend asked me to write you through e-mail so I am doing this and hope that you will do justice to me.In every society the teacher is considered a respectable member of the society.For 0nly thirty thousand rupees it is unjust to deprive one of ones hard earned money.I hope that you will do justice to me. I will pray for your long and happy life.

I would like to add my comments about the service and misdeeds of the staff of UBL. About three years ago I bought a suzuki mehran through UBL car financing.I kept paying its installments for two and half years regularly at the rate of 7600/pm.The control price of the car was 395000/ and I booked the car for seven years.In 2008 I could not pay the installments for only four months due to some acute financial problems. The car was on my wife's name. One day when I was coming home ,four persons interrupted me and asked to get off the car.I did so and one of the man of them persuaded me to hand over the car keys to him.When I refused to do so and said that he could take the car after the owner permit him to do so,he humiliated me and pushed me and took the car keys forcibly and drove the car away.I with my wife reached at the recovery branch and assured the manager that we would pay four months installments.But the manger told us that we could get the car if we would pay 80000/ or so as fine and other extra charges.At that time we could not pay such a big amount so we requested him to give us some time so that we could arrange the money.He asked us to write application.We did the same.But after some time when my wife contacted the manger that we could pay all the dues,he told my wife that the car was auctioned.It was a great shock for both of us.The bank should serve a notice to us about its intention about the auction which was not done and the car was auctioned without intimating us.We had paid almost a large amount of its price and only 150000/ or so were left.The question is that weather the four months (non payment 30000/ approx.) installments was such a big amount for which we were deprived of our car? secondly had the staff right to humiliate and insult me?Thirdly why the bank did not serve us notice before taking back the car and was it not the duty of the bank officials(the manager recovery branch) to intimate us before the auction took place.We belong to a middle class family and this act of the bank and the insulting beheviour of the staff is not just when we were ready to pay off the whole amount about which the manager told us.Can any of the official physically humiliate and push a client in this manner.The court has a verdict about it and the law of the country does not allow any bank to recover its property in this manner.Can somebody will answer me

i am a member of UBL bank Baghbanpura brach Lahore brach services is very poor persons not working properly he is nigligence this is third time i submint payments cheques and after ten days eight days i got to market for buying some electonics product and i withdrow money butt i can't receive money machine ansring you have not this amount and i go to bank next day and ask for the problem he is say me your balance is sufficint you check it than i check my balance is ok after one month i face same problem second time than i feel very shame on a shope than after one day i check my balance is ok and today 8th /12/2009 i face this problem third time and i feel very much and i sure this bank services is very poor I well decided i go to other bank shift my account a trusted bank INSHALLHA

I opened an account 7th Jan 2010 in you Bank "UBL UNIVERSITY ROAD BRANCH, KARACHI" after 4 or 5 days my branch provided me Account no and then after 14 days I collected my cheque book and UBL ATM Card and Branch Staff sad please Call UBL help line from your PTCL registered number and Activate your card then I called ubl Help line 111-825-888 on 20th jan and i talk with ubl phone banker she said sir you are calling from un registered number and your account is debit blocked so we can not activate your card at this time so she said please visit your branch. "but in my account opening form i mention my res PTCL no" then i called my branch 2 time and i talk with branch staff and they said we are unable to unlock your account due to Nadra vitrifaction and then i asked her to transfer my call to manger she provided me manager desk no then i call your branch manager and he said sir i am going to activate your account then i said ok . after one day i called on 21st jan ubl help line ubl phone banker said sir we are still unable to activate your account due to debit lock contact your branch i said but your branch manager said i yesterday your branch manager he already committed with me for my account activation so i said registered my complain he hang up on me .. then i visit your branch she said sir today we received your Nadra vitrifaction now i am going to activate your account but i said yesterday your manager he said he is going to activate my account she said i think he committed but no buddy supervise this matter that's why still locked and i asked to call UBL help line from branch then i walk with your Associate but she said now your account is activated from branch you have to wait for 24hurs after 24hurs our system will be updated then we can activate your account . and your branch staff she is very good customer representative after that she explain me for every reason .
1st PTCL number Registration issue : she said sir from our hand there is no problem we feed all data so this mistake happend from our hed office.
2nd long waiting for Account Activation :
she said after closing my all truncation work my bank update server and after updating this server with in next 24hurs this update will me updated in our ubl system that's why you have to wait for one more day .
3rd late Nadra Verifaction :
she said if we send this Nadra vitrifaction early then your account activated more early abut due to ubl old systems we can not do that .
i agree with them that no one is getting care of the customer. i am a resident of Mansabdar and presently living in karachi. i do have my job in banking industry where i realized that our customer statndard is too much poor.

their branches are always offline, I am trying to use send and receive money since last four months I tried about twelve times always got "Sorry branch is not online"
No matter city or which branch all say the same "Sorry branch is not online come tomorrow"
UBL Wiz card is also useless I never succeeded to receive money on my Wiz card, the people who try to send me money gets "Branc his not online"

sir, no one in the branch receiving the phone and if some one receive it, then they have no maners how to talk with
customer. custmor care is very bad at UBL pabbi branch.The staff is very misbehave towards its customer.even the
manager mr nasim and asst manager mr raj muhammad treted me very badly to my call. as you know sir the barnch is on line
but manger and asst manger refusd to give us online fasility in bank. timing of bank is from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm but they cloosed

From last one month since "charges" have been imposed for accessing onto UBL webpage (login) to enquire balance or recent transactions, I have been trying to get myself registered. The page does NOT work and is too complicated. The universal phone number does NOT work either as after pressing 1 (for Urdu) and 2 (for English) the system flops. No one responses from the feedback email address either. I regret the poor services from UBL which once was a leading bank in "computer technology" and introduction of ATM in Pakistan. i m running NADRA KIOSK at Gulshan-e-Abad Adyala Road Rawalpindi.
i have to inform u that the behaviour of "Manager UBL (Adyala Road) Br Code 1488" is non co-operative, non responsible & not fair with his duty.
i have submitted the payment many time in "NADRA KIOSK COLLECTION A/C".
i have submit amount in the morning but every time they do online in the evening at 5 to 6PM.
Today (16th of June 2010) i contact with Manager he said to me that we have given u a slip of received amount we will do it online in evening.
The last Bank Manager Madam Sehrosh was a Co-operative lady & responisble with their duties in the time of this lady our amount will online at the spot.

as i know many people who have marble buisness in mohmand agency and have accounts in ubl ekka ghund..they are shifting thier acconts to ABL,MCB,Alfalah.because the link is always down.customers from all pakistan who have marble buisness are enforcing people of mohmand marble to open acoout in Alfalah,standard chartered.

Dear All,
If i am not wrong then questions arise.
1- Have i done a blunder mistake to be a customer of UBL?
2- Is UBL offering such a ridiculous,incompatible and pitiable service?
3- Why should I suffer if there is any flaw of ATM or UBL Bank?
4- Is UBL bank is based and built up upon the customer's assets rather blood?
5- Is it the matter of of just one customer or Rs.1500/-or is it the matter of all those UBL
customers who are being stung or ill treated by the BANK?
6- If these types of appeals are being overlooked and become a part of dustbin by the
BANK then from such type of amount,can a bank prosperous?
7- Are only the corporate accounts important for the bank?Can BANK ignore thousands
single accounts?
As per the subject matter I applied a transaction of Rs.20,000/- through ATM of UBL Main Branch Multan Cantt at 08-07-2010 time 16:03:00(Approx),but unfortunately I was not able to receive the full amount.I got only Rs.18500/- of 37 notes of Rs.500/-.Short amount was Rs.1500/-.Space was too short to be gone away 40 notes of Rs.500/- through ATM.I at once reported to bank officer MR.Khawar and gave him written requisition of short amount.In the same day I informed the branch manager of UBL where my account exists.
At 15-07-2010,I contacted with branch manager and i was informed that there wasn't any difference of ATM balances at the date of transaction.B.M refused to refund the short money.

ubl claims to be the best bank in pakistan but as per my knowledge this claim is not true.ubl is the most pathetic bank around.theirs customer services are poor and they are lacking the man power as well.their staff members misbehave with their clients and this is denting the their reputation badly.i am thinking of closingtmy account and moving to some other bank.

I am holding 3 accouts there, including PKR, Euro and WIZ-travelers. This was only due to the fact that I founded UBL, a BANK that provides its customers a good care. But unfortunately since 16th of july they are being so rude that I cant think off. My WIZ had been captured by UBL ATM in Islamabad. I applied for new one which soon I got new on 16th july, but after then they didn't activate my account. I tried hundred of times requesting to activate but they didn;t take it seriously and also the customer care centre misguided me many times. I am a student, living in hostel in ISlamabad and it is very difficult for me to handle such situation. I am very very disappointed in UBL Services. Their helpline members are so rude. I can't imagine such an irresponsible behaviour from such a high profile Bank. I again request to the responsible personalities of UBL, to please pay attention to the complaints and save your reputition.

I Did a transaction of Rs 2000/- from another bank's ATM machine. At that time the machine only scroll but didnot any cash comes out. when i checked by balance the amount of 2000 was deducted from my balance. I did the complaint on Toll free Number and they told me that my complaint will be resolved in 12 working days. this incident was happend on 17-08-2010. after 16 days i recived a letter from bank that your problem resolved and the the amount of Rs 2000 redeposited to my account. but when i checked my balance no any amount added. after that i again did the complaint to the customer service but all in vain. My complaint No. is 17081003830. Please do something because of this the bank is loosing his reputation.

Mostly complaints are about their system .They normally charges late payment charges; even you send cheque to them well before time. Their staffs attending attending the complant call has no knowledge and they have only one answer that it is system generated bill and they have noted the complaint and it will be corrected in next bill. Your bill never be corrected and every month you call them you have same answer.

Dear Sir,
This is to draw the attention of the high ups of UBL towards the sorry state of affairs their bank. I am UBL account holder( UBL Iskanderabad Distt Mianwali) and have three UBL Wallets in my use, one primary and two supplementary. The day before yesterday one of my supplementary cards was snatched twice by ATM machine and returned by the concerned branch staff to the bearer. On second attempt the branch staff advised not to use the card before seeking help from helpline. The helpline informed that card had been permanently blocked but could not tell us the reason.
Then I informed branch manager with whom I have account and he then himself dialed the Helpline but he also could not get information about the reason for blockage of card.
In the meanwhile I lodged a complaint at customer.services@ubl.com.pk , supervisor.cc@ubl.com.pk but in vein.
We had not yet solved the problem of first card when yesterday a second card of mine met the same fate at the hands of idiot UBL. I straight away went to my UBL branch manager he dialed up the helpline but again he could not know the reason as to why the second card was permanently blocked.
Now Eid is coming ahead and I am 400 Km away from my home town. I shall be there after Eid. My two cards have been blocked by cruel UBL for unknown reason. Tell me how I can manage to send money to my family and how will they arrange sacrificial animal.

this is my complaint i m lodging against the ubl branch mardan 0033.well the staff of mardan is totally unco operative.the manager of the branch has totally rude behaviour whose name starts wht something syed mian.the IT department dont know how to operate the system and time is waisted when u visit the branch to teach them especially the female staff.kindly take notice and action against it

Off couse there is no care for customers and so many lapses which should be needed to diciplinary actions against concerned staff.
I have opened account by few months ago and now I want to get the PIN No for my Wallet Visa Card. So many time I have called to their customer service representative for same but they are wasting time only and nothing to do the actual activity as required.
Respected sir,i manage my acc in ur ubl bank clifton branch with six years,on 28th Jan 2011, I try to fund transfer on other ubl account through atm but it could not transfer as usuall system problem and I withdraw Rs,20,000 on atm ubl clifton branch for deposited in other account,when I deposited in counter#1 I dont know his name, I give the slip and Rs.20,000 to cashier,he counted and said me 1000 rs note were fake I shoked I said I withdraw that amount in ur premises atm machine but he said its not possible atm machine cant accept these note,I said its not my matter u verified these note u have cctv cameras and I said I withdraw this amount at ubl atm clifton branch than he said atm cameras not working,thn I said this not my matter.He couldnot accpet 1000rs note and ur ubl staff blamed me that u r liar,I was hypering and I cut the note in two pieces and handover to Mr.Altamash manager and I said to verified and I m not liar.He said u visit within 2 days.I dont think so he will be verified.I said who is responsible.Thats Y i will close my account within 3,4 days.This is ur poor managment.Thanks

I tried to find out someone from high hierarchy of your bank, but I couldn’t get any E-mail address on your official website. Today 26th May 2011, for the first time, I had visited UBL G-11 Markaz Branch Islamabad. You can’t imagine, I was the only customer from 9:00 to 9:45 AM in the bank, however on other customer had come to pay the utility bill which they refused and he was directed to Al-Falah Bank G-11 Markaz. During my 45 precious minutes I just want to transfer Rs. 40,000 online from Islamabad to Lahore. The entire team of the bank hardly could manage to find the branch code and hardly could transfer the money in 45 minutes. The Manager of the Bank was not present on spot; however there were 3 guys and 2 gals. When I had tried to register my complaint for wasting so much time, than all of them started misbehaving with me.
I found that your entire team of UBL G-11 Markaz branch couldn’t be able to (use ctrl+F5 to search branch code) search the branch code as I had given the complete address of the branch. If so than why UBL had recruited and given them salaries.
The team of G-11 Markaz branch might be doing this with all other customers as well and I usually transfer amount in various banks and I had never faced such problem, However this could be if there is massive amount of customers, but this case was not here. I don’t think so not even a single person in this branch has been selected through merit. It’s a kind request to register my complaint and either change the staff at earliest or at least give them training how to do work and how to behave with customers. I had never wasted so much time by writing such E-mail to any other one.

i am in bangkok Thailand and i have bangkok bank card ATM card and this card i give to my wife and she can withdraw money in Pakistan ,every time its OK and not have any problem, but 29 may she want to cash and use my ATM card at UBL branch korangi industrial area, KFC. but ATM machine was out of order in real but that time machine not show any problem and it look like working very good, after insert the ATM card, machine work and just out receipt but cash not come out, and machine is out of order that time and my wife told the official the machine is not give cash and they check and just say ohhhhh machine is out of order and official said that u not have cash in hand so this translation will cancel automatically and money will back to bangkok bank or they will have an email from some where ,, so Finlay nothing happen and that official said , call help line and help line said that i must complaint to my bangkok bank, now i ask , what i complaint to my bank? i check already my on line account , the transaction is ok and successful, and my wife have that receipt ,,, that is not show any error and it show that cash withdraw already .nothing show any error at receipt,,,so where complaint who responsible?If ATM machine is out of service or any problem with he ATM machine than who responsible? that branch? no body work well there, every one just work ,but not work in real. no body give any service,,, we no need to teach them that what they can do and what they have to do,, they know all but they don,t want help any person . if they want want help they can help , bcoz they know every thing, bcoz official already said ,, yes machine is out of service, so plz any one can help? Last month the Government issued cheques for the widows and the needy female. But really very sorry that the Manager of related UBL Branch refused to open the accounts of those wiomen. He not only insulted them but mocked and disgraced them also. He said that he had no time to open new accounts. I have applied for opening bank account with UBL, Thatta Branch. It is over one and a half month since i submitted my form but the account is yet to be opened. I do not know where exactly the unnecessary lacking is; either at the local branch or the concerned office. Apparantly, the branch officers/officials are seen uninterested in resolving the customers' problems. When asked about inordinate delay, they just resort to lame excuses and shirk their responsibilities. As a result , the customers suffer a lot.
Threrefore, an stern action may please be initiated against the officers/officials involved in this practice thereby ensuring people friendly banking.

The cashier does not repone to customer of UBL Dir Upper Branch Code 468. He oftenly returned the money that it are not in correct sequence which is not understood

I am writing this to register my complaint and protest against UBL OMNI which are to help subscribers pay their utility bills with ease.
Unlike what OMNI claims, my first and probably the last experience with UBL OMNI went horrible. My paid amount didn’t reach to the LESCO and I was billed again with extra charges for the service that I had paid already for.
This happened as OMNI didn’t punch my bill and transaction was not carried away.
I am sure this is not only me. There must be thousands of other customers who would be bearing the same brunt. I have heard WAPDA linemen telling subscribers to not to pay bills at UBL OMNI as they don’t punch bills at time, or even after time.

My name is nadim Khan, A/C No.1007712-8 CNIC No.31303-1921688-1I want to tell a story about visit of your New ubl branch, Shahi road Rahim Yar Khan, what a nice building constructed but when i enter in the branch it was, i felt a atmosphere of fish market. No discipline, no person was setting on his chair, no token system is running. I approach three young men and a lady officer for removing of my problem but no person was found ready to listen me. Sir mean it very clearly am not complaining but i want to draw the kind attention toward taking some prompt action for making some discipline and seeking attention toward resolve my problem.

But they didn,t activate my card. After that many times I tried to talk on above mentioned help line no but its bussy 24 hours. sir i am from akora khattak city i just complaint about the violation of the rules and regulations in ubl akora khattak branch . and also the behaviour of the staf. after 12 :00 pm they close the door of the bank the custmers of there are too unhappy with the behaviour of the staf please get the response against them thank u

In this week, I orderd for a (simple) cheque book in the branch of Farid Gate Bahawalpur Punjab, but they sent me 'Business Partner' cheque book. It is very bad service because it means that the customer is not value able what he needs. Please let me know that what to do.

A.A. i opend my minor account at Farid Town Branch Distt Sahiwal on 25.11.2011. after account opening send me a cheque book and after ATM card. i activate my card from your help line, but no use my ATM card. Few days i visit to branch tell me a officer that my account # had been changed due bank's falt that same bank account alloted 3 or 4 persons. now my problems is i have no other cheque book and ATM Card. Please send me my new account cheque book and ATM Card as soon as possible.

I am agree with the behaver of staff of ubl. b/c i want to open an account in ubl and go since start november 2011 and still my account is not open. i complet all the paper work. The bank staff give me 4 types of different forms one after another. he said this form is know change then i got new form they said this also be change by officeal. then i got 3rd one they said this is wrong filled. then they filled own his own but after a week when i go they said form is know again change. what is this is this proffectional attitude?????
please slove that problem b/c my brother is on dilysis and want to send money. but they anprofectional people does not know how to work. if people r in problem then who to slove????????????????

ma na 3 December 2011 UBL civic center Islamabad ma ATM 7:21 PM use kyi magar Amount jo 20000/= RS thi nahi nikli.mara Account bi isi bank ma ha ma na wahan rabta kyia uno na kha Helpline sa rabata karan ma na helpline sa rabata rakha bad ma 17 December 2011 ko Karach sa app ki taraf sa call ayi ka aj sham tak app apna balance check kar lana app ka account ma app ki Ammount transfer kar di jay gi.lakin bar bar rabata karna ka bad aj 2 Mounths sa zaida time ho ghia ha lakin koi Response nahi mila.mari Ammount mujay nahi mili.plz solve my probllem???????????? To UBL Very sad I am once again here repeat my story for UBL service very very bad service. I have been lost my voult before 2 days ago Eidul uzha with 3 atm cards etc. I have blocked all cards at the same day and request for replacement cards to the all concerned banks fortunately I have received all replacement card within a week except UBL card and then I have complain 3 time on help line but no pozitive progress in this regard and I am still waiting to date for my card. Its realy very very bad service by the
UBL. At the last I decided now I donot use any product in future of the UBL.

i visit ubl pabbi branch (1269) on 9th dec 2011 and request for account in that branch on KM communication Title .But due to bad customer services and non awareness of Account opening SOP my accout was cancelled .RAJ MOHD the Branch Manger tell me to open ur account on ur personal name , i agreed but this time he opened BBA account.3rd time i request on 26th jan 2012 but the issue is still in process.I personely in contact with the high official of the Region Mr Arbab sb & Ayub sb, but no satisfactory answer are given by them , onl wait.Plz take some disciplanary action against all those employs whose are violating UBL Customer Services SOP.
