Ufone has turned into a rip off scheme to rob people clean of their hard earned money! They charge crazy rates all of a sudden and you find out that the card that u had just loaded is finished due to no apparent reason. Moreover I also had an internet usb that i bought for 7000 and it was supposed to be free for the first 6 months but it never worked! We would call them n bullshit them n it would for an hr or so then again no connection! The nI lost the usb but the data sim inside it was in my cellphone. recently i used it for mobile internet. applied for their 30MB package worth rs.190 in total, (actually i had to load 3 cards worth 300 in total) and i checked my email once n then it did not connect anything for the rest of the month! They robbed my money! Allah will burn them in hell since in our country no justice is ever served and the daaku community is successful only!

yes Ufone edge is having alot of problems.... that was the first launch and then it has been called back.... means no more sale... but that is not the case with ufone only many giant companies have to face such problems like u might have heard about toyota Corrolla which had problems in its Wheel RIMS and they found it after the launch of new corolla model in 2009.... Moreover somtimes we get robbed due to in sufficient information... EDGE modem only works in areas where EDGE enebled systems are installed on Ufone Towers. there it will give 30-40 KB/s Max dL Speed. but the areas where no EDGE is available it runs on ordinary GPRS which has speed of 4-6KB/s max.
so u might be using this USB in GPRS area and also if signal are weak in that area or tower in that area is already crowded with voice calls then GPRS will be having problems of connections and speed both.
hope this info wd help u deciding for any new product purchase in future..... i recommend that never purchase a newly launched product as it may have design or manufacturing defects... let it be proved good by the market and then go for it after collecting sufficient info abt it.

My Rs. 100 ufone balance is also lost in single day, without me using the balance!
Also, with ufone sim my phone is showing unnecessary menus. I am now searching for a solution on internet and I found this post. It's true ufone is robbing people of their hard earned money, and there is no solution!
