Well today was the day when i actually realized the reality behind the negative comments about wateen by Wateen users (which are by the way very true). Before i tell about what happened, let me clear that, this post of mine in Wateen's Forum is my last attempt to tell the management or concerned guys to wake up, because they are losing the customers because of their extremely non professional policies.
For the past 2 months i was facing issues in internet browsing. upon several calls to CS, only solution i used to get was to empty temp folder. On my last complaint i requested to send some one at my place to check it. A guy did visit and upon detailed inspection filled a form and told me to get my CPE changed.
I was informed by the Wateen engineer who came to my home and CS to go to blue area islamabad office and get this device changed. Today when i visited them, they clearly refused to help and said you were not suppose to be here as only Regional office at I-8 can solve your issue. kindly contact mr Noman at I-8 office.
Upon coming to I-8 office islamabad, i was informed by the guys there that today is Saturday and its off today. I called CS again to confirm is it off today? Answer was NO, its a working day but no one was at Wateen Regional office (isnt it lame?). And no one even bothered to call me back.
Since no one was there, so i couldn't get my device replaced. Since Saturday is the only day i can get time ( due to my job's nature) to get this CPE changed. I will have to wait a whole week which i can not. The CSR clearly told me to get some other Internet service as we can only sell you a new connection right now but we can not replace your device today. Means they can arrange a person who can sale me new device but can not arrange some one at office to replace my device. Then i realized how wrong i was about Wateen. A successful services company concentrates on customer satisfaction and customer retention, unlike Wateen. I think i was not suppose to use the services of wateen for the last 1 year. I dont want to pay you for something which you guys cant offer. So today you have lost your one year old customer. With same non professional approach, be prepared for some more.
And please let me know what is the procedure of closing this connection?
