Wateen Complaints - Network down for 4 days and counting

i am from surjani town, Karachi. i am facing the same problem from last 4 days, and they reply me same as you, Costumers is nothing for them.

if the cell site is not working for four days, there is a possibility that the same is permanantly out of order. however, with USB, you have the option to connect the network anywhere where signals are available. now its upto to you whether to retain or apply for refund.

i called wateen costumer center today they told me to wait for 2 more days and then if problem won't resolve then they arrange visit for try to connect my device to another tower AMAZING they are kidding with costumers.

@Bob, they mentioned that various sites are down with and there is no estimated time for the issue to be resolved. I am more concerned about the refund... do I get all amount or just a fraction of it. The complains I've heard about wateen's refund scare me.

@Kashan, funny they said the exact same thing to me, that I wait two days for the issue to resolve, if it does not they'll open up a ticket and send a technician. I'm wondering if he'll be carrying a portable cellular tower or something.

i am using Mobilink Infinity from last 6 months its working very well, i am happy with Infinity just bandwidth problem and sometimes little ping issue.
Wateen speed is much better to Mobilink and ping reply is very well, i can compromise with wateen if network issue will be resolve within a day or 2.

im from lahore and im facing the same problem for last 7 days. only 20% signals. most of the time device searching for network.
and they have the same excuse that there is some problem with there network and they are trying to resolve it. i think they have this problem all over Pakistan

8th day has come to an end. No progress, same b-shit every-time.

I am facing the same problem. I have heard that there is a rift going on between wateen and warid and that is why the boosters are shut down by one party. God knows whether its right or wrong but the response from wateen cs i.e. we can't tell the exact time of resolution shows that there is a major problem going on, and may be its not technical.
I like wateen's service but this kinda shit sucks.

@Wajeeh you're right, an insider report is that that it is NOT technical problem and the access points are shutdown intentionally, not because something is wrong with them.

I faced this problem on saturday, 13.3.2010. Before that everything was working fine. I'm in Gujrat. I guessed there is some problem with my device as it keeps searching for signal. Now after reading this I'm confused whether it is problem with device or signals.

shit wateen shit, 20 days from complaint still no signal, site is still down shame on wateen they should be end internet services and should be start dry cleaning services.

their's signal towers shut down due to non-payment. so it would better for you to switch to another service. well, I have already to PTCL. :)

Wateen has a similar problem in Islamabad and Rawalpindi as well. From what I hear from one of the people at Wateen, apparently Wateen has run into major issues with Motorola and are now near bankruptcy. I reside in Shamsabad so it is pretty much the same situation all over.

they have shit support, I am suffering from same situation , my network is down for 4 days and all ppl here are suffering the same.

Please avoid such a poor crap shit company

I am not satisfied from Wateen service in Peshawer road area of Rawalpindi. I am facing problem of network from last 7 days

Funnily enough, Wateen seems to be in NO hurry to rectify the issue either.

my wateen is down for almost 12 days (Peshawar Road RWP)now and dont know how much they will take. it is shit service, looting the customers, after one day of recharge that is 1600 the very next day it went down, I am tired of complaining from past 12 days.
Please avoid such a shit service. I would say to wateen , Go home and take
rest , close your company and you are not able to run it.

Wateen is loser... very disappointing... Im in rawalpindi, allahabad (pesahwar raod) and the service is out since first week of april... a wateen insider told me that they have tower disputes with warid and no idea when it will be back...
i hate it now... and they are even billing me....
i want to discontinue wateen but i dont know whether they will return e device security money or not... pathetic wateen

all of you facing this problem for about 10-15 days but i m facing the same problem for last 7 months same reply from their reps & surprisingly they said that u bought the usb net from some other area or region so they can't register my complains.i have called them for more than 1000 times then they said '' in ur location services r provided on upper stories not on ground so u must shift urself upstairs i think they just make fun of customers not able to solve the problems

Finally I have returned back the Wateen device and started using PTCL Broadband service now. Good Bye Wateen.
