I have been using wateen wimax internet for over a year now and they have done nothing but steal money from me every month. Initially I paid them 6000 and gave them 12 months worth of cheques (Rs. 1350 each) for a postpaid connection that promised me net usage and a telephone line for that amount. For the first few months the phone line wasn't working, although the internet had good speed, i kept complaining about the telephony service (they didnt even give me my number) but kept paying for the service as it was part of the deal. Then Wateen decided to change my service on its on. The internet stopped working and i was informed that my connection had been switched to pre-paid and that my cheques would be returned. All I know is they gave me a package for 1100 per month, but every month the prepaid portal shows my bill as somewhere between 15-1600 and i have to pay that amount just to get my connection to work again. I have complained and have been told that I am being charged 4-500 for a telephone line as well when the truth is i don't use the phone and even when i have tried to connect it doesnt even work (no dial tone). ON top of that, if you ever run out of volume before the end of the month then you're stuck, you cant pay your bill before the 8th so every time you put money into it it charges you at 30 rs for 100 kb and eats card after card after card if youre someone whose used to broadband. The internet is usually slows most of the time but there is close to no down time, except when it is blocked. This is a blood sucking machine.

I agree about their billing issue. I don't understand how do they charge me very month Rs.1450 for Internet + Telephony.

When I ask their helpline about this as I was told I would be charged Rs.1350 per month (both for Internet and Telephony), they just give some calculation which I don't understand completely as it also contains rent for the device.

As far as the device is concerned, initially when I signed up with their service, they said that in this amount Rs.1350, I am also paying Rs.500 for the price of device, which will be removed after 12 installments.

Though, I am fortunate to have a very reliable internet experience with Wateen.

I had the same problem with wateen, and just wanted you guys to know that what I did was sue them in consumer court. I got mine last year with exactly the same issues, but in my case, the offered me unlimited 512kbps and that was written on their form (the yellow one). After a month, they stated charging me for excess usage above 10 gb. after complaining and complaining, I eventually decided to take them head on and sued them.I suggest you guys do the same. If you need any guidance on this issue as I have already gone through the process. my tel no is 03214016463. I for one believe that consumers should not be taken for granted. Since the problem in Pakistan is that people are afraid to go to courts as this may waste their time, the service providers just do whatever they like. My experience has been good with the courts, so far, and i suggest you guys and others you know should do the same. Already quite a few of my friends who also suffered the same in the hands of wateen have lodged cases in the consumer courts and are hopeful that they will be given relief as myself. In my case,the hearing is next month and i sued them for Rs.5,500,000. I don't know what the decision will be from the court but at least wateen would eventually have to pay some form of damages.

Umair, Thanks for sharing such information. Could you tell me how could I proceed with complaining at the consumer court against Wateen or any provider? Would I need a lawyer from my side to file my case?

Well you definitely need a legal counsel(lawyer) to represent your case in consumer courts. It would also be a good idea to complain to the PTA but the problem is it might not be as effective as going to the courts.

At the same time, make sure your complaint carries weight, ie. all the facts are in order. For this you would need relevant documentary evidence. In courts , it's what is documented that counts!!

service is not just bad enought, they are not even providing good customer care services, their representatives on asking say,,, we cant do anything... its really pathetic,,,, a man sitting in customer care service center saying that he cant solve my problem and cant provide me any help or etc,,,, i m talking about its customer care center on barkat market, lahore. i was shocked....
after all this i have finally decided to get rid off from this stupid service....

I think everyone should know about consumer courts and they should definately go for cases against these companies who are fleecing their customers.

i am also the victim of wateens' fraud billing. i buy connection in the end of December 2007 and pay 18000 for my postpaid evergreen package and after using 7 months including 3 months promotional period returned back to my in door device because of poor signal reception. They said we will return ur money back and wait 2 to 3 weeks but after the lapse of almost a year my money is still hanging in the balance. Their staff is also not trained or professional in anyway. they have bitches and are only for.... . Anyway some other networks are going to launch there service soon. Wait for good broadband using days. Happy day!

Fayyaz, well said, their staff is absolutely dumb, don't know how to deal with customers and have non professional attitude. It took me almost a weak to activate my account as they deleted my account without intimation.

Pakistanis are unfortunate that they don't have any consumer court that is easily reachable and the nation is under dark clouds of corruption.
But, for this Pakistanis themselves are VERY MUCH RESPONSIBLE. They only complain, instaed of boycotting such products. They should come on road and ask for consumer courts.
After all, what is your country's Supreme court for? Ask them for Justice and give consumer courts in no time.

I also agree with all of you.. wateen is looting people, i paid them 19000 for connection. and still i cant exceed 10 Gb monthly bandwidth.. Wateen really sucks..

I have read all the comments and just want to add I am using Wateen wimax for the last year and so and everytime I experience a marvelous downloading speed. I think the real problem with wateen is its diversification. They have so many wings and services including wimax, hfc, carriers carrier etc (as per their website) so I believe it is getting difficult for them to manage customers's expectations. We also need to understand wimax is relatively new and Pakistan is the biggest plateform who have launched this product in such a massive scale (we should also be proud of that and THANK YOU WATEEN).

After the launch of the prepaid services, the problems consumers were facing has been reduced significantly and Wateen have hired some professionals as well in the customer services / technical departments.

The real competitors of Wateen would be Mobilink Infinity (who only launched the services in KHI and romours are visible that they are going to sale or roll back their broadband wing) and Witribe (who have launched on FUT basis but the reports are also not very good). Believe me guys, Wateen is the only company who can invest in such a huge manner to expand broadband vision. So instaed of saying "Wateen Sucks" we should also give them credit for being pioneer in the technological field.

I my self is very much comfortable with the services they are providing and hope a bright future for them.

Very Well. Now i decided to go to PTA because Wateen is unable to manage their costumers and they had to think before going for a giant leap.
I have to admit that only wateen can invest at that huge level but they have to take care of their costumers too.

Dear Saadia(Wateen CS), wateens Service is very good. Most of the people hate wateen just because of its 10Gb data limit, please increase it to atleast 100Gb. else i think wateen will loose all its home users. Don't rely only on your corporate users, think a bit about home users.

Hmmm ... good show all. I'm using Wateen WiMax for more than a year now and I can safely say that it's internet speed is "epic" - unmatchable by other internet providers in Pakistan. With regards to billing, don't say if they are on their mission to make money fraudulently - they might be facing issues in their billing etc. Plus as some of our friends said in the posts above that Wateen is venturing into just so many products most of them are Business to Business - in which I'm sure they are performing outstandingly well and they have earned very good name in international market, specially when it comes to Carrier's Carrier products like International Voice Wholesale, Satellite and Fibre optics etc. It's just that they need to work on Business to Consumer side like WiMax more aggressively and need to resolve the issues customers are facing ... so keep providing them with your feedback!

I agree with Tariq that Wateen has to work on business to consumer side a little more so that customer can be staisfied. Plus I also want to mention that a multi billion dollar company like Wateen does not need to indulge in activities as some of our friends mentioned as BILLING FRAUD. According to me the subject of the complaint should be BILLING ERROR rather then billing fraud.

One of my close friends who actually worked at Wateen told me unofficially (after he had resigned) that at launch in December 2007, Wateen offered nation wide dialing (NWD) and international statndard dialing (ISD) without actually verifying the customer credentials i-e CNIC and residence of the customer. The relationships were purely based on confidence Wateen had on Pakistani market and consumer and what we (Pakistani)did with them? We just made the calls and calls and when Wateen send the bills to the customers, more then 90% subscriber never paid the dues thus hurting the company's revenue. Don't you people think it is a FRAUD with Wateen? Wateen is still providing ISD and NWD without verifying customers credentials but they were forced to opt for pre-paid model because may be as a nation we do not deserve a post-paid module developed on the basis of confidence. So before pointing a finger on Wateen, we should have to analyze our role as well.

I don't use Wateen myself so cant say much about its speed, etc but one thing I know for sure is that ppl i know have had issues with its billing. When so many ppl have issue with billing and wateen isn't resolving those issues promptly, then Im bound to think of it as FRAUD and not just an ERROR!

And bob, I don't understand the argument you're trying to make. you may have had a good experience with wateen which shuld be appreciated but if wateen didn't follow proper processes and did not verify customer credentials before offering nationwide dialing, then its their fault! how can you offer a service without verifying customer credientials who you are going to bill?

If they are doing this on purpose, risking their brand image, just for hudreds of bux per consumer, that too in PKR - i'm afraid that doesn't make a business case for any company ... C'mon ... companies can't do such an open fraud and run away just like that ... because everyone knows they cant survive then ...

In pre paid module, they dont have any issue with regards to billing. All the customer complaints pertain to postpaid module. So it is better for everyone to cncentrate on live issues rather then repeating the oldones.

Further I have made my point very clear that more then 90% of subscriber never paid the dues so it reflects the culture in which we are surviving :)

I disagree with it being an "ERROR". More towards "incompetence". I agree with the fact that Wateen spent a lot of money to provide such services in Pakistan,and should be commended for that, however, it's not our culture that we don't pay our bills when those bills are completely wrong and with the intention of cheating. If one or two or three bills were an "error", i can accept it being a mistake which can be forgiven. But when you have an "error" in every post paid bill, and no response from their customer care to rectify, then surely without doubt it is intentional.

Perhaps realizing that they had shifted most or all of the customers to prepaid - so you see intention is not bad apparently ...

first of all let me congratulate Bolta Customer on finally getting Wateen to sit up and take notice. Its a pity they chose to respond with excuses instead of solutions. You have hfc? wimax? carrier carrier? You are the first company to have implemented it on such a large scale? You want us to ignore the fact that you have been overbilling your entire consumerbase? Well, guess what; I got great marks on all my degrees, got several scholarships, now have three kids and find it hard to manage my finances on a daily basis; would you cut me slack? Would you say ' it's okay, sir, we understand that you can't handle all the burden, go ahead pay us next month'? No, you wont! and rightly so...this is a business deal, you keep your end of the bargain and we keep ours. Because you suffered losses due to a poor business model in the beginning does not mean you get to over bill consumers just to balance out your accounts. Don't try to confuse us with all this mumbo jumbo; you are not providing what was promised and you are billing for it; regularly!
To Sadia@Wateen I would like to put this question; you want me to send a complaint through email? what happened to the hundreds of complaints I made using my cellphone, where one of your representatives assured me that the problem would be taken care of, that a token had been generated? You didn't receive those? Are you admitting that all customer complaints regarding packages and billing have been discarded upto this point? I believe only one of your reps was truthful enough to respond with ' I am sorry sir, you have no control over your package at this point' I guess what he meant was...'we're making loads of extra money off of you and we like it'. What does hundred of rupees per customer add up to? seriously? Well you tell me? How many users do you have? Big number? now multiply with hundreds? what do you get? millions? billions? And to the guy who's "friend" has now left Wateen: I doubt every words that comes out of your mouth, but I sure hope Wateen fires you for doing such a sorry job of defending them.

In response to Tariq's comments, let me clear that I am not the employee of Wateen so firing me from the job is out of questiom. Secondly, as I mentioned, Wateen has shifted to prepaid module, so it is easy to manage the accounts without being afraid of wrong or over billed.

It is better for everyone including Tariq to discuss on current issues rather then wasting on time on those issues which are closed now.

A-O-A i came up to tell that wateen is really really low service provider i am using wateen from 1 year i live in rwp whenever i face problem about wateen i have to call to 042111365111 and it costs me a lot (now this is another way for wateen to earn)and in previous 3 months services are getting worse and worse when i face problem i call customer service they only gve me reason that we are working on murree road to make our services better i think first they should provide services after should work on making services better very bad experience with wateen also on helpline CSOs are good for nothing except apologizing and apologizing & apologizing now i m planning to move to ptcal or dot.

On 22 January, 2008, i had received a mail from Wateen's Marketing Manager
which said that why your account (above mention) is inactive for more
than 30 days and what can we do in this regards.

I was very much surprised about that, because, I have returned my DAP
on 07/07.2008, before purchasing Evergreen 512 K bps @ 19000 in Dec,
2007 from Haven's Telecom, Opp. High Court Multan Cantt, Multan.

Today, i have a conversation with CSR Wateen.com , who reveals
that I have to submit refund claim form which was not guided by the
above mention franchise officials at the time of my return of DAP
device and there giving of its' receiving with MAC ID.

Moreover, I visited several times at the wateen's franchise Haven's
Telecom, Opp. High Court Multan Cantt. Multan. regarding my issue but
they said we can't help you because we collect money from you and
forward to the head office lahore so we can't reimburse this money to
you from our pocket.

Well, I am not a user of Wateen but would like to add few words. In west, any new entrant to corporate sector offering either product or services literally invest on developing feasibility, sampling and testing their trade models along with R&D. You know why they invest huge resources on pre launch because in those societies their are people who are always searching for loop holes & flaws either in the product or services as the case may be and if they find any they simply go into litigation and file a suit against the said company. Above all they are entertained by their courts making the said company paying literally a huge cost for even their neglegence or incompetancies. You can imagine what could be done against fraud and misrepresentation. In west their are lawyers who even especializes in consumer laws and settling insurance claims.
In Pakistan we do have such law and courts for settling these matters this is just a matter who approaches them. All the corporations are headed by either business tycoons or politicians who would never like to educate consumer for their rights. It is your own responsibility to study and know your rights. I am damn sure all of you having problem with any non-govt organization will be benifited if you file suit against them in fact you will witness that companies will contact you for ex-court esttlements after serving them your first legal notice. Always try to take into loop media and a letter to chief justice of Pakistan after filing issuing such legal notices to any of the company. I would not like to share my experience as I have been blessed with several settlements from such companies out of the court even before serving such notices:). TRY IT because it worth trying

Wateen is good, if you receive full bandwidth / device signals,
06 months ago i use to receive complete signals, but now half. don't know why it happens? which causes slow browsing.
Regarding the bill you have to be careful, sometime overcharge and block the service without intimation. and you know the telephony didn't work :P

I took a connection from Wateen in June '08. Wi-Max is a prepaid connection and it worked fine for about 3 months. My billing date was 3rd of every month but on 29th of Sep. 2008 it started showing me Rs. -1330 and stopped working, due to urgency of work I didn't noticed what date it is I went and uploaded Rs.1400 cards in my account that day the connection started working fine.
On 2nd of October the connection was again disconnected and I got a message for topping up my balance which became Rs. -2,180 I filed up around 29 complaints and the dumb call centre people of Wateen listens to the whole story and after that simply tells me to top up the balance. Why should I do that?
My billing was 3rd of every week even before my billing date they disconnected my internet I still top up my account and after just like 4 days they asked me to pay more Rs. 2180.

And yes, I agree that Wateen staff are highly unprofessional and most of the time just not there to solve our problems.They are mostly apologetic, but then, apologies don't really solve your problems, it only frustrates you further.I think Saadia from wateen who has been reading and following up should also address the customer care training and how to actually deal with the problems subscribers are faced with.

I baught Wateen internet connection for 512 Kbs package on 01/06/09 @ 3950. per month downloaded charges was 599+99 telephony which i have not to use. after a day
I was come to know that only browzing some site it was showing 250 MB of download,
remember that I have not touch it yet. just my son have listen some songs on internet.
While taking the connection I was briefed that browsing take only few bytes. I went to
the Wateen office at Sadar and tell them that I am not satisfied and want to return
the device. The man at reception tell me that no problem. You can call Mr. Adnan
(AM) and return the device. I called Mr. adnan and tell him the story. He told me that he is sitting with a client and will back me. after passing hrs he could not called me. I call him again but he did not attend the phone. I repeat may times but all in vain.
Next day on 02/06/09 I called hime from my office but he again did not attend the phone.
I continue calling till 6 PM but was not succeeded. I decided to go their office and tell him the story but he was not convinced. I told him that I do't want to continue because in only 10 days I will be finish my 5 GB while I have to browse many sites otherwise I will put this device in their office without any claim. at last he decided to take his device but take the full month charges 818 and instalation charges 500. They total deducted 1320.

Why they deduct the full month charges as I have only downloaded approx 350 MB.
What they have installed in my computer ? nothing

I donot know how their marketing mans are ? Thay have not loose only one customer but a chain. I have my many colleagues. I have told all of them. they will told to their friends and so on.

Most of the complaints are true at my point of view, but at my side every time i get connected any problem with wateen, i alwats received favorable resonse from them,

but as far as the account threats are concerned, i m the victom of these type of issues where some wateen employees cud easily transfer the money from one account to other account. i would not share the details obviously but its true.

I would like to point out to the fact that what a pathatic service you people are running.My net was down for more than 9 days and you people were least bothered, than I asked a friend to call your big boss guess what the fault was rectified within minutes of the call.We the customer are paying you for a service if you are unable to deliver why increase the agoney just fade away which you will as soon as a few more companies are operative. I have already cheched wi-tribe and think they are far better than the services I am getting by Wateen so wake up or just be ready to roll over.
Try to improve a little with better customer service and care a little involvement is not going to put any dent on you already dented performance.

I agree that Wateen is unable to manage Wi-max. I am going fine with internet, but telephony..............awesome.

First, Wateen charged me for 4 1/2 minutes a call, which I was dead sure that it was not more than 1 1/2 minute. I complained number of times, but the Customer representatives over there were as knowledgeful on this issue as I was, by visiting Wateen Salf Care Portal. And second, I was informed by their self care portal that I have 52 off net minutes remaining, but it was costing me per call as per their tarrif, which is ridiculous..........

Let's hope they can recover from this flaw...........

i was using this shitty wateen service wimax CPE Rs:6000 paid 12 months chq and big problem no signals i get 2 signlas every 5 to 10 mints signals drop i was tweak this shitty wimax with almunim sheet on wimax anttena i get full signals but speed not improved some time login page not open and i play cs 1.6 online server with 100 ping his own server & after 6 months wateen send me 12000 bill on my extra usage just for playing game :P WTF i remove this shitty service.

Today i am PTCL 1MB no problem no online game server ping problem unlimited download just for Rs:1199 this match with wateen :P

I have been a user of your services since the start from January 2008. I returned after 15 days trip from abroad on 27th July 2009 and keen to use your internet service, but I was surprised to see that internet was working very slowly, but on 28th July the internet stopped working completely. I called 111-365-111 on the help desk of wateen on 28th and complained about it and was told by the receiver that I had not paid the tab on 28th as my due date is on 28th of every month. I went out and got the prepaid calling cards worth 1400 rupees but I tried to open the web page of prepaid.wateen.net/PrepaidPortal/ but I couldn’t open the page.
I called the help desk again and was informed that the tower/antenna in our area had some problem and was being fixed as soon as possible, but he did not give me any estimated time frame that when they will manage to fix this problem. The next day I tried helplessly to log in and somehow managed to charge my wateen calling cards and my balance was +211 rupee, but still could not browse any webpage which made me more frustrated. I went to call to your customer care but it was no use.
Whenever I called your help desk they asked me about the complain number which I have got from your customer care, but unfortunately they haven’t given any complain number given to me, so therefore yesterday on 01 August 2009 at round 09:00 pm I called your customer care help desk, Mr. Owais-ur-Rehman picked up my phone and I told him every incident which I have gone through for the last 4/5 days, I asked him to at least launch my complain properly and give me the complain number but he immediatately refused and replied me very disrespectfully I was very hurt and helpless.
I was so disappointed with the behavior of your help desk, now due to the above reasons, I have decided that I will discontinue your services after I using my balance. I worked with Saudi Arabian Airlines at Karachi airport and I understand that aircraft can be out of service, and I understand that Wateen’s antenna/tower was not responding in my area, but the behavior of your help desk personnel Mr. Owais-ur-Rehman to refusing for launching my complain that’s makeup my mind to discontinued your services.

i fink the website PTA.gov pk is blocked from wateen end i want to complain wateen but not able to browse the website from wateen connection any other wateen consumer plz check it out i am continuously receiving message waiting for WWW.PTA.gov.pk.

I would like to add more that, Wateen has hire all FRAUD people.They trained in a way that they only cheat, First they will jsut take the money, Later they never show up.I just had Wimax Wateen connection, with 15 days money back guarantee.Mean you only get back 1000 out of 3000.The person who came to install wimax.He charged me 400 for installation,Later I come to know there was no installation fee,When I called that person (YASIN from Gulberg Branch) He simply said thats our money.ITS JUST A TAX NO ONE CHECK THEM.Later when I called that they never showed up for UPS even though I paid extra 1160. That guy was only deceiving.I called up to 111365111 many times almost more than 50 times and reported. But no luck. Got so many called from wateen and they committed but never completed, All Lier.They trained like this.EXTREMELY VERY SORRY.In wateen no one is there that who listen you.They are all Fraud,When I returned my device,I GIVE EVERYTHING SADQA because so far I havent received anything.If I called them they just say,its in process , very funny.

I know my comments dont make any change to WATEEN Service but atleast someone will not be trapped from them.

6.If you watch 1 complete movie in internet you use almost 600 mb data
7.Signal problem also. My cousin living in rawalpindi misryal road(near daewoo bus service) and he can't use this because they have no coverage in misryal road.I am software developer so i need internet when i go to my village and some small cities(where no internet cafes)they said you use it anywere in pakistan but i have no service in muree.
8.I recieve this error message lot of time.This website is no longer avaliable on this server contact your service provider.(because they block high bandwidth sites)
9.Their extra service gaming portal is bekar too

The PTA is not take any serious notice of this? We people get cheated everydays, no consumer protection in this country at all. Then we wonder why our beloved nation are not progressing!!!!

I am using Wateen for the last 8/10 months. Seriusly speaking, I never had any material issue with Wateen services. They are not so efficient alright but still the services are not too bad as I see from different peoples or atleast my experience is not bad. I think now they have recovered from the initial hickups and its time to bye Wateen connection. Other services like PTCL broadband, Wi-tribe, World call and Infinity are not good in my opinion. Wateen has now more options as well as they have reduced the package prices significantly (security deposit is also waived off).

I think amongst all the options, Wateen is certainly the best, so go for it.

I think franchise offices are very rude to costumers consequently wateen should establish Main offices so as to cope with the such complaints. I hope peoples will agree.

i want to say that wateen is not so good or bad in my opinion it takes money a lot and speed is not right.

i have problem in wateen wimax.my account speed is 1024kbps but my downloadin transfar rate is 20 to 25kbps .please solve my problem.

No one would have as bad experience as mine. I would not like to even listen the name of Wateen. They suck more than any other company in this planet. Let me write my experience. On 5th of September I ordered for a new Wateen Unlimited Internet Connection and they were at my doorstep after 1.5 hours, and I paid them 2700 (actually it was 2620 but the wateen guy has not 80 rs loose, so he said he would add this 80 rs in my telephony balance, and I agreed), those 2620 rs were the only reason he was at my home in 1.5 hours, and thats what Wateen do, snatch money as early as possible and then put the payer in hell. Well after 2-3 day usage I figured out that it was not for me as at least one person is using internet in my home at any time, and Wateen signals were not stable and I often faced DCs, and relatively slow download speed. I decided to return the device and avail their 15 days refund policy. And my humiliation starts from that point. I went to Wateen Franchise at Main Boulevard Iqbal Town at around 4 PM. The girl there said that we didn’t accept cevices for refund at this time please come between 9 and 10 PM, I said OK and returned to home. Next day I went there at around 10 and the franchise was closed. Angrily I came back to home. And on 15th of September luckily I found their franchise open. I tried to return back the device, but they asked for the NIC copy of the buyer ( which in this case is My Mother), I told them that I am coming in 10 minutes, and they said OK we are here at 11, and when I Came back at their franchise at 10:30 they were gone again. At that point I had a great wish to kill all Wateen people instantly. I wish I could have a Genie so that I could destroy each and every property of Wateen ( :P )
On 16th of September finally I was able to return their device, and they said that you will get a cheque of refund after Eid, I said OK. After Eid I visited them again hoping that I would get a cheque at that time. They said that its not been confirmed yet. You have to go to the franchise near main market (backside of Siddique Trade Center) on Monday to collect the cheque. When I went to that franchise on Monday, they again said that it we have not received yet and Can You believe that at 3rd visit they did not give me the cheque, every time lame excuses. At that time I had decided that no matter what I will get that money, because the tension and humiliation they gave me was indescribable. Finally they sent me to another branch at Hali Road, when I went there they Guy named Imran was not there, was out to lunch even after 2:00 PM (the lunch time is 1:00 to 2:00 PM), and when Imran SAHIB came, after checking he confirmed that He has not my cheque, and he again sent to the main market branch. Finally I went to the mini Market branch, another guy there wanted to send me again to Hali Road branch; at that point I was hyper and furious as anybody of you would be. So the officer there took my mobile number and said that he would call me as soon he would get my cheque, and still I have not received any call from Wateen. But its Ahmad, I will pull that money out of their *****. Wish me good luck.

You can imagine at that point that I never typed this much in my life before this, how angry would be I at this time.

I will advise all the carefully read customers agreements before signing any company form they make such forms that all things are covered, for example eden housing society has grabbed money from people since 2004 and is not giving them anything even now same is case here customers once signed their forms may not be able to do much..so petition should be against their way of working as opposed to claim by any single person as they cover all in their form so sue them in PTA or in courts for their incorrect forms and promises and deceptive terms,wishing you good luck

There is no support at all in wateen, they just waste people time and i believe it’s a fraud company. I had connection of ‘world call’ from last 8 months it was working fine but last month I switched to wateen for better speed and here I made the biggest mistake. I purchased 2 USB connections first their sales person charged me Rs 200 excess I had no idea about the actual package price. After 3 days I returned one device because of signal problem and I kept the one device then I knew that their sales person took extra payment from me here its not the end of their fraud. On 29 Oct my account got expired I purchased the cards and tried to renew but their systems didn’t accept my 3 cards worth of Rs. 100 each i.e. Rs 300 so I made the complained about it but they didn’t released my account and till 48 hrs I was unable to access internet because of that shit I lost 2 my net projects. I purchased the new cards and tried to load again and got succeed I made 10+ calls during that period now it has been 8+ days but I didn’t get any reply from wateen about my ticket. Plus not yet I got the refund of the device which I returned, their franchise asking to contact at their helpline number and customer support saying to contact that franchise, no doubt that wateen is a fraud company i hope people will learn by other experience

brother suleman, u have to contact with wateen Main Office in your city because these franchises are not good for the company. u can see my complaint above by my name. They have to confirm that whether signal strength is available in your area or not. Otherwise company is struggling to get consumers trust and i think wateen franchises are not professional. Second this is when will you go to purchase any wateen product you have get more details from their help line/ UAN i.e. 111365111.

i have purchase wateen connection for five months and i can use it and the i can pay bill for the three months and they will requir me to bill a payment of a wateen wire which can i use that is closed the telephony service for whose people who can cant use it please and it signals are on three and they not be work proply and have very slow speed..............................stupid wateen connection

well! I had some issues but since I am a "Go Green" user so this data limit thing is not for me, I do have poblem of being charged for the line rent of the phone line which I never used.

I also had register the non-professional attitude of the franchise staff. I think Wateen shud not go insane and leave its fate in the hands of ppl whom are not capable of doing their duties.
Suggestion: Arrange some in house courses related the service excellence and customer care for the Staff.
