It turned very un-pleasant after having Wateen Wi-Max Connection that after 4 days I requested Wateen representative to please remove your installations because of weak and dead slow speed on 8th of Feb 2010. After many reminders His-Excellency (Wateen Representative) visited my home on 14th of Feb and took wi-Max device and requested me to please email your ID that your remaining payment i.e. Rs. 1500/- will be refund within one week and I will give you the cheque.
Till 13th of March 2010 I have made 12-13 calls at Wateen customer service of around 96 Minutes, but issue is not resolved so far. WCS replied me that some of documents are missing to furnish the issue.
My question to WCS, Why after a month they are giving me such exasperating reason?
And the 2nd question is, at the time of sales they just asked for my ID and for refund they need some more documents (isn’t unwise?)
I request CEO Mr. Tariq Malik, Syed Jibran Ali & Mian Omer Shah to please take a serious note on this issue and also take this as a case study to improve your post sales services and commitment level.

One of their rep take a serius note for the said complaint after my comments on boltaconsumer and has confirmed that i wll receive refund cheque by today.
Iam a wateen wimax user and since 5th march 2010 my internet is not working, when i called wateen support they said it was an access point problem in the area and it will be fixed in a week. after a week when nothing happened i called them and the CSR on the basis of their patterned scripts replied that we have got a new date and now it will be fixed on 28th march 2010 at which i got really angry because i couldnt understand what type of a problem is this which could not be resolved in 24 days? In an era where companies are trying to provide better speed and convenience wateen cannot provide services at all for 24 days??...i talked to the supervisor and he had no reasons other than apologizing and telling that we are upgrading the device. on which my blood boiled and i told him that if you have ever ever worked for customer care you should know that when a service provider upgrades a device that causes an interruption in their service either they provide an alternate service or tell the customer before hand that you will not be able to use our services from this date to this date due to whatever reasons. the supervisor then replied that we will rebate your money..now any one in the world could tell me what type of a favor is this? this is not a favor because obvsiously when you are not providing your services you have to any how pay back but will that rs 800 amount substitute my requierement of the internet which i wanted during all these days? This is an era when every one needs to be online for 24 hours and not providing services for 24 days is so simple for them plus there CSR are not at all technically trained, when i asked them to tell me what is the problem one replied that we are having problems in access point, other replied we are updating the device, it is just that they have provided a written script to them which they reply on phones and cannot satisfy the customer before that further when i asked to give me a complaint number they said there is no number but we have recorded your complaint. I called at 28th march because my net even than didnt work and the CSR said that let the date change at 12 nite and it will work. on 29th when again it didnt work i called them and he said we have received updated information and now it will work on 4th april...that means a whole month they could not provide me services. i finally asked them to get the damn connection out of my place and i wonder how an organization in this competition will survive when it is no uncared about what and how it provides.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT for all the wateen management who are probably always getting the best services of wateen in their offices and places and mobiles and do not know what a consumer faces!

i am very disappointed about your refund service bcoz i have refund your device on dated 22/07/2010 but till now i did not receive my cheque.Secondly at your model town B-block franchise miss Amna is very uncooperative.So kindle take this issue personally.

On 17/08/2010,when i was going on duty at airport, a guy name shiraz mobile no.0321 2438573 presenting himself wateen salesman offered me a package{14th August Package}which i refused initially as i already had ptcl 1MB unlimited download connection,but when he offered me 1mb wateen wimax Rs.700 per month with 3months free & top of that phone line also included,i gave him Rs.3000 on his demand & photocopy copy of my i.d & sign blank forms as i was getting late,he mentioned that phone equipment is in his which is in parking lot & he will give it officer there after i leave.I called him after i left for my flight from aircraft but he said that security didnt allow me to take it in to airport building,& he will deliver it to my home tomarrow.Next day after aftari i called him he said his car broke he will be at my home next day,he gave me a usb device when i paid him Rs.3000. which never work at my home i told him that its not working he told me he will visit me with engineer,he never gave me any reciept for the amount i paid no copy of agreement & any broucher which describe all above things.Later on,on few occassions he promised to visit my home but never turnedup & block my calls to his mobile.i never got my login & password from him.After few days i called wateen helpline & found out that my package is Rs1400 per month with no phoneline & no free 3 months &also i got my login i had complain with wateen they investigate it called back & told me to go to wateen franchise & submit return form & get my amount back in 4 weeks,i submit my form & usb today, & waiting for payment check.I hope some one in wateen take action against these con man who use there name & give them bad names.Wateen helpline was very caring,lets hope to get my money back.
Wateen customer service is really bad and so is there network. You cannot sign in through there website. I recharged my account and in 3 days i was out of balance, called the customer service they said i have used up my balance which is bull-shit. There net work is all ways down. WATEEN SUCKS. PTCL is way better specially ptcl's fiber optic lines. All they want is people just recharging the account. DO NOT GET WATEEN. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THERE CUSTOMERS.
i bought a usb returned it and after two months no refunding has been evidenced so far kindly pay attention and maintain your status as trustworthy company i have got the complaint form with me send someone over

my wateen net device does pick proper signals but ehen it drops them and restarts automatically

Wateen is a big fraud.Always keep this piece of advice in your mind. Believe me. Never never never get a Wateen connection! I swear in God, I had a bad experience with Wateen. ( Beshak achi baat kehna bhi sadqa ha).

i m the customer of wateen last three years. last month wateen reprisentative come at my home and give me new divice ( bolt ) now i m using and take my old device and told me he submitted in the office and send u money back with in 15 days, but now 30 days left i cant received any checque.his name is khuram sayyed and cell num,ber 0300-4008727. when i call this number, i listen invalid number.
please tell me wat should i do?
