whereas, I purchased Wateen’s WIFI Device on 31-10-2009

- Due to poor network and it’s improper functioning; I returned the device on 06-11-2009. It was initially informed by Wateen’s Salesman ‘Nabeel, Cell no. 03234478163‘ that in return of device within 15 days of Purchase, the company will repay the same total amount as paid on purchase i.e. 2500 PKR. In the same time

- At the time of device return, Mr. Mobeen (Customer Officer, Clifton Branch) said that the money will be returned at the end of November, 2009.

- On my several visits to Wateen office, i didn’t get any positive response from their staff.

- In the mid of January 2010, I met with manager at theri office for the same problem and it was ensured by him that I will get my money within a week.

- In 20-01-2010, I received a call from Mr. RAmeez (Wateen’s Office, Cell no. 0323-4481863) who requested a copy of CNIC which was misplaced in WAteen’s Office. He also ensured the same statement to release the amount within 15 days. In response, I had sent an email with the required stuff (also attached with this email)

- In 24th January 2010, I received a call from Customer Service; a representative informed that my device is active and asked me the reason of not using it.

- I also called several time to Mr. Rameez but didn’t get a positive response.

- I also complained this to complain center.

After several complaints and phone calls, I was called by Wateen’s representative for collecting the amount on 24-04-2010. It was very surprising for me that after my no. of visits, calls and wastage of time, the return amount was only 750 PKR where as the submitted amount was 2500 PKR at the time of purchase. (I still not receive the amount as it was not the full amount). In the time of my visit of getting the return amount, four (4) customers also there claiming their full amount and that time the customer salesman has repeat the same strategy of telling that the full amount will be return in 15 days. I hope that these four (4) customers will also suffer like me and they will go through the whole hectic process of wasting time on the couple of months.

It was very disappointing thing that the manager who was aware of this entire scenario don’t know the exact return amount before giving it to the customer. Kindly help me in this regard.
